I am an Emerita Professor from the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Illinois at Chicago. I have worked there for more than 30 years training graduate students and postdoctoral fellows. I am very energetic and derive a lot of enjoyment from interacting with students (i.e., discussing scientific papers, and exchanging views on many aspects of our daily lives).
I have a daughter who lives in San Francisco and just had a baby, so I plan on frequent visits to this area. I cannot stay with her for more than a day or two at a time since she has a relatively small apartment,. However, I would like to find a place in her neighborhood where I can stay but spend most of my time with my daughter and her baby in her apartment.
