I'm originally from Savannah, GA with a 4 year stint in Southern Cal but Atlanta is where my roots run deep.
This is one of the most beautiful lofts I've ever seen. The beds are comfortable, the couches are perfect for reading, and the location is very awesome. I had a great experience.
We had a comfortable and easy stay at Dan's place. He graciously coordinated with our local friend to get us keys as he was heading out of town a few hours before we arrived. The lofts were a perfect location for visiting friends in Grant Park and the four of us (two couples) slept just fine in the open layout of the loft. We had great weather and thoroughly enjoyed hanging out by the pool, though it was too early in the season to swim. Next time? :) Thanks Dan!
Dan's place was great. Really enjoyed the neighborhood. Agave is a must, for anyone looking to grab a bite to eat and get a taste of the atmosphere. Dan gave us all the info we needed to get to and around in the area. My wife and I had a wonderful time during our stay.
Dan was a great host. Quick and on top of all communication, and his place was top notch.
Ive stayed at plenty of hotels in Atl, and this topped all of them. Heck, my gf and I debated trying to sweet talk him into letting us buy it. 10/10, will definitely stay again.
I am familiar with the funky, artsy section of Atlanta called Cabbagetown. I had heard about the lofts that had been created from the previous Fulton Cotton Bag Mill and had always wanted to stay there. The condo itself is a very comfortable place to stay with exposed brick and nice high windows. Dan's place is on the 4th floor, so the views looking down are cool. You can see the MARTA (subway) trains that are elevated in this section and the CSX freight trains that make you aware of the interconnectedness within the city and movement of goods to and from Atlanta. At Thanksgiving time it was too cold to swim in the pool, but if you are lucky enough to visit in a warm season the pool situated next to the remains of a wall of the mill looks very cool, it looks like a pool next to an archeological site. Dan was a cooperative host who communicated about necessary details. My husband and I hope we have a chance to visit again sometime. When you go, visit Amazza Pizza on the other side of the train tracks. It's a new beautifully designed brick place with wonderful pizza, salads, wine, beer, and mixed drinks.
Dan was a great host. The place was very nice and clean. He was responsive if we had any questions. I would highly recommend his loft!
Great apartment and very comfortable. Dan's place is walking distance to some nice restaurants and bars and good coffee.
It was a GREAT apartment in a really nice area. Close to some good restaurants in Cabbagetown and a short drive to the downtown area. Dan was super accommodating and helpful; he was out of the city the weekend I was in and he made it super easy to get in and out of the apartment.
It has been a real pleasure to host Dan and his friends, they are very good mannered and pleasant, respectful and friendly. Another lovely experience for me as host!
Very nice guy. Left our place in clean condition. I would recommend him
Dan Tanner is a wonderful friend and host. I know Dan through church and have frequented his wonderful loft more times than I can count over the past two years. The place is very cozy, well organized and super clean. There is a pool on site and you're a stone's throw from charming local bars and restaurants! The rooftop patio is very nice too! Great for Atlanta sunsets! Dan is a stand up guy and highly organized, if I were you I would want to book with him:)
Dan is a good friend of mine and is "good people" as they say. He is great at communicating and planning, so I am sure your stay would be great. His place is really awesome and in one of the coolest loft communities in Atlanta. His area, Cabbagetown, is walking distance to restaurants and close to the beltline and other neat areas of the city. His place is nicely decorated and always clean.
