hello! i'm a 23 year old student currently in limbo between the blue ridge mountains and the atlantic coast. i'm currently studying history + communications, and absolutely love anything that has to do with hiking, rivers, biking, and generally being outdoors. i also love pineapples and bananas, which my dad grows in his back yard.
whenever i travel, i like the idea of getting a closer, home-y feeling of an area, and being able to immerse yourself in something more genuine than staying at a hotel near an airport. i try my hardest to befriend locals and ask what there is to do beyond touristy attractions. it seems to me like the only way to truly get a feel for a place that you've never been is to do what locals do, and that's what makes Airbnb so appealing--the idea of staying with those who know the quirks and hidden gems of an area.
