I live in New York City with my girlfriend, we are both in the restaurant industry and love food, and travel. I majored in architecture and love exploring different cities, and how they have developed, in addition to building my own home projects.

Good restaurants, several bars and nice shops are within walking distance, which is very convenient. The apartment is in an old red brick house and radiates the characteristic Brooklyn charm. I did not see Susan or Molly that much, because of their working hours, but communication with them was fine.
Susan and Molly are super nice and have been very helpful. I stayed with them for three weeks, while doing research for my PhD-thesis. It was the perfect environment for me, as they are working a lot, too, and the appartment thus is a very quiet and relaxing place (some other places I have been to vie airbnb turned out to be more like hostels). It felt more like coming home after a long day of work and they have done a great job in making the apartment very cozy and pleasant. The house is one of these typical narrow and steep rowhouses in the southern part of Williamsburg, and I think it gives you an idea of how it feels like to actually live in the city. The food and coffee in this area are amazing and it is super conveniantly located between several subways and bus lines.
I’ve been lucky to have so many great experiences when using Airbnb, but this one goes straight to the top. First of all, Susan and Molly both are great hosts. From reservation to check-out everything went so smoothly. And I stayed there one month, which is a long enough to me to be confident about this. They are extremely helpful, fun to hang with and respect one's privacy. In other words ideal hosts/roommates.
The apartment is spacious, always clean, and kitchen well-equipped. Special note for coffee-lovers, you’ll find a grinder, bee house dripper and pourover kettle.
The location, West Williamsburg, is the key here. The apartment is so close to all great cafes, restaurants, parks and lively bars (inc. Music Hall of Williamsburg). Yet quiet enough to wind down and have good night sleep. Pretty much a perfect getaway spot after spending days in hectic Manhattan.
Needless to say, I highly recommend.
Susans flat is a perfect place to stay in Ny.. its next to the Williamsburgbridge, some nice restaurants, bars, shops are in walking distance away and the flat itself is very nice decorated, well designed..we loved the place and recommend it to everyone
Susan and Molly were excellent guests! Easy to communicate with and left my home in pristine condition. They are welcome back any time and I'd recommend them highly to any future hosts!! :)
Having Susan at my place has been great! A part of being a respectful and clean guest, she is a very interesting and lively person, with whom is really enjoyable to talk and share the time. I hope to see her again!
