architect in nyc
I stayed at Mian's apartment this past weekend, and it was a fantastic experience. Mian has clearly put a lot of time and effort into making sure the space was spotless, well-arranged, and relaxing. Everything was laid out neatly, allowing me to cook, relax, and sleep with ease.
The neighborhood is great as well. The space is a few streets back from Union Square park, located above two great restaurants. Union Square park is full of shops and a major subway station - so you can quickly get around NYC.
If you're looking for an all-around place to stay to truly see New York, this is it.
The reservation was canceled 32 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Mark's apartment is bright, sunny, spacious and tasteful. It's on a lovely block and the adjoining apartments are quiet. Mark was very hospitable and welcoming. We had a terrific stay, zero complaints, couldn't imagine a nicer NYC apartment.
Stayed in the apartment for six days, and loved every single one of them. First of all the apartment is lovely. Airy and sunny. It’s exactly as the pictures shows – you’re getting what you see. There were no pictures of the bathroom, but it’s nice and clean – like the rest of the apartment. What you get, is a lovely and trendy NYC apartment located in the fancy West Village surrounded by cafés and stores, especially on Bleecker street, twenty meters from the front door. Walking distances to Highline Park, Noho, Soho and the rest of (upper) Lower Manhattan.
We were five in the apartment, which worked out perfectly (as long as you make sure, those who gets up first, sleeps in the livingroom :) ). Mark was indeed very helpful, and a perfect contact person, throughout the week. Hopefully next time in New York will be in the apartment again - No question.
Mark's apartment is great and the area is superb. It was the cleanest and sunniest place we could have hoped for - and comfortable beds to boot. Didn't even use the luxurious sofa bed in the front. room. I would highly recommend this place - only i don't want it to be booked up all the time! Seriously - you will not be disappointed. (Brace yourselves for the stairs!)
Mark was really polite and helpful.
The 6 flights of stairs were killer, I couldn't do that again. The apartment is in a great location.
Master bedroom is great - the 2nd bedroom needs an air conditioner and bigger bed and window needs work.
My family and I had a fantastic stay at Sunny West Village. The apartment is spacious and filled with light and is very nicely furnished and well equipped (including the kitchen, where we cooked several family style meals). My kids loved the sofa bed in the living room, which I think is full queen sized and which has a proper mattress (more comfortable than most regular beds I've slept on!)
We felt right at home and part of this great neighborhood (a feeling you just don't get in a hotel!), with its tree-lined streets, boutique shops and wine bars. My suggestion - take a walk down Bleeker Street to Magnolia Bakery, pick up some cupcakes, and sit either in the lovely park right on Bleeker or walk down to the Hudson River. There's so much to do in the area and the subway is just down the block for getting further afield. Thanks to Mark for a very memorable stay!
the appartment is vey well located in a great and central area of NYC, lightfull and well furnished with good taste...it's ubicated at the 6th floor which is worth knowing before...i have to admit it is smaller than It can appear in the pictures, and as a familly of 5, it was pretty small as we did not have much place to move when bed wad unfold in the living room...no table to seat around in the kitchen for breakfast, and we were missing some commodities as toaster and coffe machine... nevertheless, we had a pleasant stay and Mark was very nice, helpful, and accepted gladly with our late check out...
We really enjoyed staying in this apartment. I researched the Airbnb site thoroughly, and this apt lived up to all my expectations.
As stated, it was bright and airy. Great comfortable beds, including the pull-out sofa. There was some street noise, but not enough to be troublesome (and I am a very light sleeper). The bathroom and kitchen are clean and modern.
It is a great neighborhood, close to grocery stores, cafes, bars. Walking distance to Washington Square and the Hudson River. I would definitely stay in the West village again, and in "sunny west village apartment" specifically if it were available. Thanks M.
Apartment was great and although Mark was away he took care of all the arrangements. perfect location and lovely building.
Mark was an excellent guest -- quiet, considerate, and left the apartment in perfect condition. Highly recommended.
Mark was a great guest. He was very communicative and left the apartment in great condition. He was also very flexible with check in and out times. I definitely recommend him as a guest.
