Ho viaggiato tanto e ora è il momento di accogliere.
I've been travelling so long... now it's time to host.
super! rien à redire ! appartement confortable et génial de pouvoir visiter Rome à vélo! c'est vraiment le mieux je pense pour apprécier cette ville et quel sentiment de liberté! les vélos de Genna sont de très bonne qualité et le cadena incassable : )
A great place to stay. Even Genna wasn't around Maria came to welcome us and what a welcome for an Austrian when she spoke Swiss German. The flat was awesome, close to public transportation in walking distance to main sides. The Flat itself had everything you need and we felt we have been staying there for "months". It was our new home.
We recommend that flat for everyone who wants to have a great time in Rome.
Genna’s place was great. It really doesn’t feel like a holiday-apartment. It’s more like having a pied-de-terre in Rome. The apartment has everything you need. It is located in real nice area and on a perfect spot to discover the beautiful city of Rome. Especially when you (dare to) use the complementary bikes. Genna is a great host, who provides you with a lot of useful information about the city, nearby restaurants and things to do and see in Rome. We will definitely come back again!
Will definitely recommend. Nice apartment, very well situated. Genna is a good host, well organized, and very informative. Apartment is clean and well equipped, and minibar w/large selection is included at fair prices, which is very convenient. The complementary bikes are a great bonus for those of us who like to travel by bike. Thx Genna!
It was a nice stay in Rome. Nice place, everything was doable. Ongoing.A pleasant, friendly accommodation. Friendly, easy handling owner Genna.
3 nights perfect in Rome at Genna's apartment. The host is nice and everything is organized, it's iur first time in Rome but we live as local, we ride in the city, we went to the restaurant which Genna suggest which is very local restaurant instead of restaurant for tourist.
The apartment is 2 mins working from the bus station, we travel this city with bike, and dinner evening by bus, can't not be better :))
We had a nice experience at Genna's appartment. The appartment is comfortable, clean and well equipped. The location is very nice. There are a lot of nice restaurants and bars in the neighborhood. Genna is very friendly. Since we booked the apartment on airbnb site, he wrote to us giving tips on various tours, tickets and places we should visit. He picked us up at the train station and on the way to the apartment already made a small city tour. Showed us a ride called fotociclando combining bike ride and photos by the main sights of Rome. The apartment is also very close to a train station. We trully recommend!
The house of Gennaro and 'special, beautiful and has everything you need! Excellent central location, well connected to the bus stop and' front of the house! The host and very kind and helpful! Service that provides bicycles for its guests and 'very useful for exploring the city! Thanks Genna!!!
Genna's apartment is really nice (spacious, clean and cozy), in a beautiful authentic building and offers everything you need.
The location is calm, but within walking distance to shops/bars/restaurants and there are trams and buses almost directly in front of the house, taking you pretty much anywhere in town.
Unfortunately we weren't able to meet Genna, but he left us a list with tips for restaurants and other suggestions and was always available via email.
I'd recommend his place a 100%!
Had a wonderful time in Rome staying in Genna's apartment. The apartment is in an accessible location - the tram stops right outside so getting into the centre of Rome is very easy, and it is a few minutes' walk from Travestere train station which will get you to Termini in around 20 minutes - however it isn't in the centre of Travestere so be mindful that to get to the shops, restaurants etc you do have to take the tram or walk a fair distance. The apartment itself is very spacious and nicely decorated in an old building. Genna was a wonderful host, meeting us at the apartment even though we arrived quite late, and leaving us toast, butter, jam and coffee. He also gave us some great recommendations for restaurants which were all spot on. The only thing that was an issue for us was the noise. Because there is a courtyard in the centre of the apartment building any noise really echoes. The walls also seem quite thin as you can hear the neighbours and the elevator. Overall we did enjoy our stay very much and would recommend the apartment, but just be aware that if you are a light sleeper or hoping to have a bit of a sleep in this might not be the best place for you. If you are an early riser then this should not be any problem!
I never visited Genna in Rome, but he was a guest on the island in Cambodia I worked for. He is a genuinely nice person with an aura you will not find with many other people. Inspiring and an excellent conversation buddy, Genna does not only have a great place (nice pictures!) but would also be a great host. I hope I will be in Rome someday to catch up with him!
Genna is a polite, nice and friendly person who will provide an excellent hospitality. He'll always be willing and helpful when needed. And the house, of course, has a superb location in the middle of the colourful district of Trastevere.
G takes a special care and addiction in everything He does and the attention He takes ever turns Him great soddisfactions. He has a great respect of his hosts. He takes in his eyes the peace of an Indian and the strenght and faith in tradition of southern italian people.
A brother for me.
I wish you'll meet him.
Genna is a very careful and loving host.
An interesting combination of the typical southern italy friendliness and echoes of remote lands.
