Anne and Bill were very welcoming and made us feel at home. A quick little walk through of the cabin and grounds, and they left us be for our duration of stay. Anne also included home-made muffins whenever we walked into the cabin. Lovely acreage, surrounding trees, and very calm atmosphere make this a hidden treasure! Definitely will return again during a different season! Thank-you so much again for everything!
The cabin is even more beautiful in person and Bill and Anne were the sweetest hosts! My dog Toby and I had an amazing stay and will definitely be back soon. I can't say enough nice things about my hosts and this cabin!
We loved our stay at Bill and Anne's! The cabin was exactly as described and adorable. There were delicious muffins and candies waiting for us when we arrived. The cabin was well heated and the furniture was comfy! Their land is absolutely gorgeous, we had as much fun walking around their land as we did at the state park. They gave us great advice about the state park and Fayetteville. They are such a lovely couple, we felt welcome from the moment we arrived. You can tell they really enjoy hosting people. I would recommend the cabin to anyone!
The place was beautiful and the cabin was so cozy. Ann and Bill provided everything we needed, and even put their dogs up so our dog could have the place while we were there. Great hosts!
Anne & Bill were great communicators providing detailed directions on the best way to get to their cabin in the icy/snowy conditions. The cabin was extremely cozy with a picturesque view and had everything needed for our weekend getaway. Thanks for your hospitality and for showing us around your place. We'd like to come back when the roads are more drivable and we can spend time outdoors... you've got a great little place there!
The cabin was lovely and exactly as pictured. Anne and Bill thought of every little detail -- the Cabin had everything we could possibly need. We were welcomed by fresh baked blueberry muffins, which was lovely. Anne and Bill were incredibly flexible, accepting our same-day request to stay in their cabin. If you're looking for a place in the woods where you can enjoy the stars without the city lights and noises, but close enough to a large city to enjoy the night life, I recommend staying at Anne and Bill's cabin. I can't say enough great things about this cabin and the hosts!
Bill and Anne are as sweet as hosts come. They were very caring and concerned about our well being even before/after we left. They gave as great directions to get to the cabin, and back to our destination, showed us around to the state park and grocery store, allowed us to give our dogs all the freedom they could get, and Bill even helped us build our campfire (we were struggling a bit). The cabin itself is beautiful, very clean and well-equipped. We are definitely coming back when it's warmer to explore the area. The cabin was so cozy and lovely we ended up spending our entire weekend there instead lol the view is definitely breath taking, and the cabin was exactly what we needed. Thanks bill and Anne for welcoming us and our puppies into your home. We can't wait to come back!
Anne & Bill were absolutely fantastic hosts, we could not have asked for better! From the time we arrived, we felt like family.
The cabin is perfectly situated for excellent views and privacy. The location is close enough to the Fayetteville area that it's convenient to go to town for a nice dinner or shopping. It's also equally close to the Devil's Den State Park area for excellent sight-seeing or hiking.
The cabin itself is cozy and well-heated (it got down to the mid-twenties at night during our stay, and we never got cold). The cabin was clean, and well-stocked with towels and such.
Overall, we were very happy with our stay, and would be glad to return one day!
Anne and Bill made us feel very comfortable in their beautiful cabin. We had everything we needed, and then a little extra!
Anne and Bill are absolutely wonderful hosts, they provided us with everything needed for our stay. Because of their hospitality, the Ozark cabin was without a hitch one of the best weekend gateways we've ever had.
In January, the surrounding rolling hills of the countryside have a beautiful and mysterious tone. Overcast and cool, the weather perfect for a stay in the cozy cabin.
On the second day of our stay, a thick fog rolled in. The large windows of the cabin provided a great view of the bare forest outside. We spent the evening watching scary movies and had a blast, the setting could not have been better.
I would highly recommend Anne and Bill to anyone looking to spend some time away from the bustle of work and the city in calm northwest Arkansas.
