welcome to me place, i live in weston is a nice town close to MIAMI and FT LAUDERDALE.
A nice room in a big house within a safe neighborhood. Luis is a nice guy. Very easy to check in and check out. A lovely little dog in the house played with me every night. I miss it now.
This is a good option in that area, when the cheapest motel charges $80 a night plus 13% tax.
Will check airbnb.com next time for a place to stay next time when I am in Miami area.
A Casa do Luiz lhe permite sentir-se em casa a liberdade e total, casa boa com um amavel e carente caozinho ' eltoro' , podem ir sem medo, nao e lugar para pessoas ' frescas' e sim para extrovertidos e de mente aberta. A alguns minutos do sawgraass mall,
I stayed in Luis's place a couple of weeks ago. Luis is an amiable guy with a cordial demeanor. The room I rented was on the second floor. It was a monotonous room with a single bed and a closet which was fully occupied. The room was not in the best condition in terms of cleanliness, there were unattended dishes next to the sink in the bathroom which is mind boggling, perhaps a new pastime when defecating. The lounge was preposterously disorganised, wood barks, dried leaves and dog stool scattered among many unidentifiable landmines. I have not used the kitchen, never had the intention to and never will. The upside to this humble abode is the friendly and quiet neighbourhood, and the adorable dog which defecates constantly at his disposal, land of the free. Additionally, the price is nothing to scoff at, although it does not include any linen or toilet papers. As a closing remark, this place is not up to par sanitary wise, not the most picturesque home but the price and neighbourhood makes up for it. Did I mention that the internet got cut off at some point of my stay? Luis awaits you with a Norman Bates smirk. 3/5
I stayed here about 2 yrs ago. For me, the location is ideal and the price is very low (the only good points), but I hoped I would not have to stay again because it is honestly one of the filthiest homes I have ever seen. I just stayed again, as there was nothing else available nearby, and it was even dirtier than before, if that is even possible! There is, quite literally, garbage and filth spread across the entire house, unkempt yard, no towels in bathroom, toilet paper ran out as there was almost none when I arrived, dirty towels and garbage piled up in bathroom closet, hairs, dust and dirt all over floor. A cute little Pomeranian lives here but he defecated and peed outside of my bedroom door. Don't even consider using the kitchen!! I feel bad leaving a negative review because Luis seems like a nice guy, but there is no way he should be part of the Airbnb community. It is comical how filthy and unorganized the house is, and I absolutely cannot believe that anyone would choose to live like this!!! If you stay here, bring your own sheets, pillow cases, towels, toilet paper, etc and be prepared to clean your own room and bathroom!!
the host is very nice person, but the place is not clean at all. The bathroom was filthy, no toilet paper. Kitchen: dishes in the sink, left over food hanging out. Room: the bed looks like someone just got up, 15 minutes earlier before I got there. Price: too much for what your getting.
Excepcional lugar para hospedagem, bairro calmo e tranquilo próximo ao Sawgrass, com uma casa espaçosa e confortável. Relação custo benefício ótima e Luis foi um excelente hostel, só elogios mesmo.
This place is tough to rate. It is very inexpensive. It is much more like living in a fraternity house than a Bed and Breakfast. The kitchen was dirty and disorganized to the point of being unusable. The place is okay for men with very low expectations of hygiene.
Luis' place was adequate for what I needed. I stayed for two weeks after coming to the area on a work assignment. As the listing says it's in a gated community so it's pretty secure and in a well off area about a half-hour west of Fort Lauderdale. The room was decent sized with a TV, a small table and a fan to keep cool from the hot/humid south Florida weather. The bed was okay but the mattress is a bit thin which took some getting used to. I took the advice of one of the other reviewers and brought my own towel which was a good idea. The areas of the house I used were reasonably clean, but as others have noted there are a few things that could be given a once-over. The shower was good. Internet/WIFI was okay for regular web page use, but not as good for things like making (website hidden) video calls home. I did not make use of the kitchen but it was available. I was also able to use Luis' washer and dryer which was very handy. I was initially worried that I broke it the first time I used it but there was just a minor issue that Luis helped fix and then it was good to go. Luis' house is pretty busy with lots of people coming and going but I always felt I had as much privacy as I wanted and it was never loud or noisy to prevent me from sleeping. I only saw Luis a few times during the two weeks I was there but he was a nice host and if he wasn't there, usually someone else was around who could help me if I needed something. He has a very friendly cat as well who is eager for a scratch behind the ears in the morning. Overall not a bad place to stay for the price.
The house is very large and safe, was a little messy for not having housekeeping. Luis was traveling and I did not know him in person. For those who will stay there I suggest taking linen and towel.
Stayed in the den at Luis' Weston residence-- had no problems and plenty of space. He was very relaxed about me coming and going at odd hours. Nice neighborhood, not too long a drive from Fort Lauderdale/Hollwood area. Highly recommend this deal. Thanks Luis!
Luis is very friendly and good communicative person. It,s a pitty we hadn,t enough time for knew each other.
Looking at Luis I can say he is man-holiday, it was some positive mess with him, but place was left at original state.
