New York City Based travel writer, Contributing Editor at Arthur Frommer's Budget Travel Magazine, also freelance contributor to a variety of other publications. Currently working on a much larger writing project which is occupying most of my time. I lived for many years in Rome, Italy in the late 80's and early 90's, and return frequently. Currently divide my time between New York City and Chandigarh, India (where I share a house with my partner. We have a sort of tri-continental existence.) If your apartment or room is in Europe, it will likely be both of us for some portion of the rental. We are very neat and tidy, and very considerate . You would also likely find us kind and charming and especially respectful of your home and your space. We both travel so often, and have lived in a variety of different countries, that neither of us is ever actually a tourist. We are travelers. There is a difference. Currently, at least in the Spring of 2012, I am looking for a place removed from my usual routine, where I can edit my book in peace (hoping that the rough copy is finished by Spring 2012, in which case I will still be writing) I have not yet listed my own apartment on the Upper West Side of Manhattan on Airbnb, because there is the possibility that I will actually be putting it on the market in the Spring and joining all the cool kids over in Brooklyn, but for now I live in the Ansonia the second most important historical landmark building on the Upper West Side (second to the Dakota.) If things work out, I am open to the concept of a swap. I am a lover of art, books, film. I am a photographer as well as writer, and supply my own photography for the pieces I contribute to Frommer's. I am an exercise fanatic, and a regular practitioner of of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga.
