I am a musician, I play clarinet and saxophone. I have a busy private teaching practice in Auckland New Zealand. My main interests are the arts. Although my main passion is music, I have a strong interest in photography, painting, sculpture etc. I have a very broad range of interests from philosophy to sport to science to history. I have sailed all my life and have a beautiful 35 foot yacht. One of my greatest pleasures is sailing on the Hauraki Gulf in Auckland New Zealand. I love cities and the great outdoors. I love travelling, seeing cities by foot and bicycle. I am a keen cyclist. Myself and my partner, Justine have 19-year-old twins, Millie and Moses. We live in a beautiful modern house in a quiet suburb, Herne Bay, five minutes from the centre of Auckland city, right next to a beautiful park. My interests include music, painting, photography, philosophy, psychology, sailing, good healthy food, the arts in general, QI, humour, film, Woody Allen, Twin Peaks, Shakespeare, architecture, science, literature, the All Blacks, America's Cup Sailing etc etc etc
My partner, Justine, is an architect and musician, violin and viola. She works at a top architecture firm in Auckland, Crosson Clarke Carnachan Architects. She is an avid reader, draws, loves films, travel and adores skiing. Justine speaks German and French as well as her native tongue, English. She loves learning new languages.
We have 19 year old twins, Millie and Moses. Millie is studying law and Moses works in geotechnical stabilisation.
We love travelling as a family. We all have travelled to Paris, Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Rome, Florence and Venice in 2010 and 2012 and we are looking for to hour upcoming adventures in Paris, Athens and London.
