I am 54 year old non smoker. Like to travel and enjoy meeting new people.
Mary and Andy stayed at our home for a few nights. They were out a lot and pretty much kept to themselves so I can't say we got to know them. They treated my house well and seemed to enjoy our patio at night looking at the stars.
It was great having Mary back. She's a delight to have around. We enjoy her gift of gab and wonderful personality. She's always welcome.
Mary was a great guest. Fun, easy to talk to, respectful of my home. I would host her again!
It was great hosting Mary. She is so much fun to visit with, and her personality is golden. We shared stories and even found out how small the world is for us. Mary was in for a short overnight stay, and we would have her back anytime. She is clean, quiet, genuine and would be a wonderful guest to welcome to your home. Best of everything to you Mary!
This was our second time hosting Mary and we enjoyed every minute of her stay. With her semi-permanent relocation to the Des Moines area Todd and I are already looking forward to getting together with her and her friend, Andy. We had such a great time playing Music Trivial Pursuit with these two, but be advised...they are REALLY good! Speaking of good, Mary brought us two homemade pies from the World Famous Pella Bakery....their deliciousness "almost" made us forget the way she spanked us (okay just, me...Todd was holding his own) in trivial pursuit! Awesome, outgoing, guests that always went above and beyond. Imagine my surprise when I loaned them my van for a 1/2 hour to help move an oversize item and it came back with $60 worth of gasoline. Salt of the earth people - it was great to see Mary again and to meet her quiet, easy-going friend, Andy. We're so glad that they are just 10 minutes up the road. Five stars is simply not enough for this lovely lady. Top shelf airbnb recommendation.
Mary was a vibrant, energetic guest and we had such a fun time getting to know her. She brought us one of the famous Pella, Iowa pies as a house gift and it was AMAZING!!!! One of our others guests (70 years old....so she knew her pies!) stated it was simply the best pie she had ever eaten. It was wonderful having a house guest who grew up in Des Moines as she was able to share so much information with us about our newly adopted city. As a lifetime medical professional it is facinating to talk with her about so many interesting health things. We too felt like we made a new friend and hope that her adventures bring her back our way again. Airbnb community, Mary with her open minded-easy going ways is a pleasure to host and so self-sufficient my job as hostess was practically obsolete. 100% Recommend :)
Mary and friend Robin were wonderful, couldn't have been better and more entertaining! Mary even brought me a small gift as a token of
of her appreciation. I am hoping they return. I would recommend this wonderful guest to anyone. Thanks for kindness.
