I'm a student at the University of Oxford and I enjoy managing my mother's house and looking after guests who want to experience the historic city of Dublin.

We briefly met Jamie who welcomed us and kindly gave us free tickets to the Book of Kells! Our stay was not unpleasant but admittedly could have been better should the room and house have been a bit more tidy :-)
Jamie shared with us that we were the last airbnb guests.
Very laid-back, relaxed stay at Camden Row. Great garden and ambience. We traveled as three and the back room is cozy so hopefully you enjoy the company of the people you're traveling with because you're about to get very close with them. Two is probably the optimal amount for the back room.
Jamie was a very gracious and helpful host.
Jamie was the greatest host. The house is full of character with a private enclosed garden where you can enjoy your morning coffee. Jamie was very helpful in answering questions about what to see, where to eat, etc. and the bedroom is a perfect quiet respite from the bustle of Dublin. The location is ideal for walking to all the prime tourist sites.
Jamie was a very nice host.
- The location is excellent. We never missed having a car.
- Jamie and his family were quite friendly and helpful.
- Large and well-equipped bathroom down the hall.
- The floor-to-ceiling windows on one wall of the room made for a lovely view but it was cold midday until the heat kicked in. We weren't there much midday so it was a pretty minor thing and the blankets on the bed did their job.
- The mattress was more firm than we would like - but it was about normal compared to everywhere else we stayed.
I was fortunate to meet Jamie, his mum Jane, his brother Richard, and Simon during my stay. I can wholeheartedly say that my experience with them will be the golden standard to which I hold future airbnb bookings. The house is walking distance from all the sights, in a great location with access to a number of restaurants and pubs literally around the corner. It is spacious and clean with a warm feel to it, and you have access to loads of fresh linens if you want. Everything from questions pertaining to old Celtic history, current affairs, planning my day trips, or just sharing dinner, and more - I've never felt more at home. I actually found myself looking forward to when Jane or Simon would get back from uni! My week in Dublin flew by with this amazing set of people, and I will definitely be staying here again in the (website hidden) Jamie is quite the chef, if you're lucky and he's home - see if you can get him to cook for you, haha!
We enjoyed our stay at Jamie's house very much. The room was perfect, indeed it was one of the most comfortable bed's we ever slept in! We enjoyed looking out the window in the morning watching the robin bring food to its chicks in the hedge. We had access to the kitchen, where we were able to prepare our breakfast and to the family's bathroom - where it took a little time to get the shower to mix properly. The location is very good, it is a 10 minute walk from Christchurch cathedral, and not so far to the Trinity College area. There are also some good pubs and restaurants nearby, but the house itself is very quite. We were there in April, so it was not cold, but I could imagine that being an old house, the room could get a little chilly in winter.
Jamie and his family are fantastic hosts, who made me feel very much at home. From the house you can walk to the historical heart of Dublin in no time and there are plenty of restaurants and shops in the vicinity. Sipping from a cup of tea next to the Aga stove was definitely one of the highlights of my stay.
Jamie was a very charming host and the room was lovely. The house is very conveniently located close to the centre of town providing access to the many cafes and restaurants.
They had the heating turned off but there were both an oil heater and an electric blanket in my room and the kitchen, where I had enjoyable chats with Jamie and the other guests, was pleasantly warm thanks to the Aga.
I enjoyed my stay so much I would have liked to stay another week but I was too late: my room had already been rented to someone else.
We loved this location! Very accessible to everything Dublin. Charming old house
with character. The family was gracious and helpful. Their recommendations were great! Our visits with everyone were educating, and interesting.
Jaime was an amazing host and a great guy to get to know. He gave outstanding advise, things to do and places to see. The house was in an amazing central location with about a 5-15 min walk to everything in Dublin. There is a great stretch of bars and cafe's right on the corner of where the house is that came in handy. My wife and I would highly recommend staying in this room at Jaime's house. We will definitely be coming back if we come back to Ireland again!!!
Jamie, a good friend from university, is a reliable and very friendly guy who always goes out of his way to make people feel welcome!
