I grew up in Rochester, NY which is where my parents still live. I've been practicing acupuncture/nutrition in the Seattle area for over ten years. I play fiddle & erhu (Chinese Violin). My husband and I have two cats. I'm an eco-nerd; we've spent a week backpacking in Gates of the Arctic National Park (no roads, gotta hike in), with friend and family. I'm a happy camper. I love living and visiting anywhere on land. Ships are okay for a few weeks. I am friendly, I like traveling and meeting people anywhere and hanging out enjoying sights wherever we are. In answer to the questions, my extended family lives in Germany so "I couldn't live without" travel. I love my career (acupuncturist, herbalist, nutrition adjuster), so wouldn't be without that. I use what I know to be the best I can be, but I don't obsess about health. Life's to live! I'm married to a sweet man who keeps me abreast of the news, music, and who tries to get me into Bible studies. As far as style of traveling...I like clean places where people have taken the time to make a place relaxing, even a spot on the property for a tent.
I don't sweat the small stuff, but I have to comment on Kim's review of my friend. My friend had left some sand on the beach house bed that she didn't otherwise use, (it was a small room without much room to put things), and she paid for new sheets on the bed because of it.
