Patti's apartment is perfectly situated: Close enough to downtown to enjoy its bustling nightlife and far enough to be a relaxing abode. Walking distance to Whole Foods and the trail makes the condo ideal for al health junkies! And Patti couldn't be more attentive: Always quick to answer any question and with an awesome attitude, she definitely was a one of a kind host. Overall, had an awesome stay and would recommend it any day.
My mom, dad and I all had a nice stay at Patti's place. She was very responsive and friendly and made sure we had a nice time in Austin. She even met my parent's there when I had to fly in after them. And got us some groceries for when we got in. (We left cash) There were lots of clean towels and the air conditioning worked great. It is VERY central and Patti gave us lots of great local recommendations. It was also clean.
My only minor concern was a faint smell of cigarette smoke. (Maybe from a previous owner?)...I wouldn't have mentioned it, but I know some people can be very sensitive to this, and I think they should know.
Overall, I would recommend this place!
Patti's place was super neat and clean with a big comfy couch and a great bed. Patti herself is super charming and ultra hospitable. Austin admirably encourages non-car transportation choices, there is a great biking and transportation system which more or less completely breaks down during SXSW. This made Patti's super friendly car ride to the convention center every morning particularly appreciated. Thanks, Patti.
