Humble and Bold
I really try to be conscious of my impact on those around me and on the earth. Therefore I practice yoga, go to integrative therapy, I don't use shampoo, I reuse food packages, I wash out jars to store leftovers in, I never use chemicals on my garden and I ride my bike many more miles than I drive my car. I remind myself to be open minded and respectful.
I feel like I fall short of my goals for my life and my awareness of myself, but I do what I know and when I learn something new I do it too.
I love people and learning about new ideas. I used to study philosophy and art in college, but now I just work in clothing retail. Sometimes I make stuff and sell it.
I love entertaining or just making conversation. However, I no longer know the meaning of "Uncomfortable silence". Just being is great too, and we all need our space sometimes, even extroverts like me.
I talk to strangers and forget to look both ways when I cross the street, slurp my soup and I speak before I'm spoken to, but I have learned to remember to turn the scissors pointing downwards just as I start running.
I'm 29, married, no children, but two cats and a small clothing retail store full of crazy artists to manage and love.
