Irishman who travels too much. Spent 13 years working for a charity caring for people with severe autism and have lived in Japan and Argentina in the past but now living between Dublin (interning in the Irish parliament) and London (where I'm studying a masters in International Political Economy). I never seem to have two feet stuck in one place and Airbnb has thankfully supported my gypsy life.
I came across Airbnb as in my many travels I like to stay in apartments and not hotels so I can cook for myself and friends who I visit when I visit such destinations and thus have a more homely experience than being in a hotel. An added bonus at times is getting to know and get along with the neighbors and the people I rent from and have made some good friends through it. Airbnb is more than a website for finding a place to stay on holidays, it's a community and that mentality means I have a lot of respect for people who rent out on Airbnb and care for and respect their properties.
