Molly and Jorge were great guests. They communicated well before arriving and showed up right on time. Had a nice chat with them before they headed back home. Would love to have them back.
Molly and her partner were excellent guests. We hit it off immediately partially because of their MIT background and knowledge of the tech startup space (something close to my heart) and we spent a while chatting about my startup among other things. Hope I wasn't a bore!

Over 30 reservations so far, for a total of more than 50 guests that stayed with us. They were all nice people and enjoyed stayed with us, as much as we did enjoy hosting them. All our reviews are a clear proof of this fact.
These two “guests” (Molly and boyfriend) were definitely the worst we could have imagined (no wonder, they already have a negative review: it’s written in Spanish, check it out!).
They did not show any respect for us, and they thought they were in a hotel where they could do whatever they wanted. Molly, you should remember that Airbnb experience is also about sharing an house with real people in their own home!
First of all, they turned up at the house for check-in after 8pm, while we were waiting from 6pm, but nonetheless we showed A LOT of flexibility there by accepting them with a big smile.
The night before check-in they did not come to say hello when back home, and did not even let us know which time they wished to check-out: I had to chase them in the room to ask for it, so that we could agree on a time. I proposed 8.30am, and they said it was ok.
The morning of check-out, we were ready for check-out at 8.30am, but only the boyfriend showed-up after 9am, saying that they would rather leave at 10am (1.5 hours later than agreed, and 1 hour later than our check-out time stated on our Airbnb page). He did not asked us if they could stay, he just assumed that they could do it whatsoever. I was late from work and we also had to prepare the room for the next guest coming on that same day!! Then he concluded they could have closed our house without us, how cheeky!
We do respect guests and are always flexible, but we also require the same respect from guests coming in our house. Airbnb hosts are not hotel receptionists!! Things need to be agreed in advance and we are very flexible as long as things are agreed beforehand.
When they were leaving, I wanted to talk to them to clarify, but they just dropped the keys and left the house without even talk or say goodbye. This is the thing that has let me down the most from these two “guests”. This was reeeally un-polite from them, and disappointed me.
I finally sent a message to them to clarify the issue, and to let them know I was still keen to leave them a good review because the first days went on smoothly, but she did not reply to me but instead she used my message and “smartly” copy/pasted few sentences from it to appear like it was a negative message.
Airbnb hosts: be aware of these people!
Molly and Jorge were delightful guests and we will welcome them back any time. They were responsibly communicative about their arrival plans, pleasant, and tidy. Great guests all around.
Hosting Molly was a delight from start to finish! She was very respectful of our cottage and left everything quite clean and in good order. We highly recommend her as a guest!
Es una persona extremadamente exigente y no parece muy proclive a comprender razones cuando surgen inconvenientes durante la estadía en un departamento, que no es precisamente un hotel. Durante los dos días en los que estuvo hospedada en el loft hizo mucho calor en la ciudad, en alto verano Buenos Aires suele ser calurosa y (website hidden) quejó enfáticamente por 2 cortes de luz de 20 minutos cada uno que habían afectado a toda la zona -por lo tanto no estaba a mi alcance solucionarlo ya que depende de las empresas proveedoras de energía eléctrica- y adujo que el aire acondicionado no funcionaba muy bien (curiosamente, tenía las ventanas del cuarto abiertas, dejando escapar el frío). Por otro lado, no avisó antes de llegar que su novio tenía alergias y le echó la culpa al departamento porque él se sentía mal. En ningún momento la vi estornudar como expuso en su comentario. Todo el tiempo se refirió al problema de alergia de su marido, que tampoco me pudo precisar a qué era alérgico. Inesperadamente, 36 horas después del check-in y no “un poco después de la llegada”, en el día de los mini-cortes de energía, envió un email hablando de un supuesto "olor a humedad" que sólo ella sentía, ya que jamás pudo identificar ni de dónde venía, ni a qué se parecía, y a exigir la devolución del dinero. Con la mejor buena voluntad, intenté calmarla y le ofrecí diversas opciones para tratar de resolver los inconvenientes pero ella se negó a aceptar cualquier (website hidden) cerró en sí misma y no podía escuchar razones. Finalmente se retiró anticipadamente sin avisar. En los 7 años que llevo trabajando con hospedaje a extranjeros nunca tuve una experiencia igual, fue lamentable. No la recomendaría como huésped, me pareció una persona imprevisible e inestable.
Molly and her family are very nice people. Her father is the person to spend hours and hours speaking and then decide to go for a drink to Barceloneta or to have a barbecue in Montjuic. Definetely a pleasure to know them.
Molly and here familiy are very nice and quiet. I hope to see them again in Rome.
