perfect. thanks, Rachel!
Great apartment, very well located in Williamsburg. Rachel welcomed us very warmly. We kept in touch during our stay while she was in professional journey, to recommend us various places (restaurants, events...). The apartment was very clean, we felt very comfortable as at our home! We recommend without hesitation Rachel's apartment. Rachel is a very pleasant host!
My stay at Rachel's apartment was great! The apt is large, quiet, and very centrally located to fantastic restaurants and activities. Greenpoint is a wonderful place to walk around and explore. The patios are an added bonus with views. The farmers markets on the weekend are close, as are just about any type food we wanted. A short walk to the L subway and we were in Manhattan in no time. Rachel was very responsive in quickly setting up my visit. I would definitely stay at Rachel's apartment again.
Rachel was a wonderful and caring host. Her apartment has all the comforts you would have in your own home. Her apartment has two balconies, one with a view of the NY skyline coupled with beautiful plants and a cool breeze in the morning and evening. I would stay at Rachel's again and feel good about recommending her place to my friends and/or family.
Rachel has a beautiful apartment on a tree lined street. The neighborhood felt safe and has a lot going on (restaurants, shops, big park, night life, weekend market). The apartment was clean, homey and artfully decorated. It was a pleasure to stay here and the decks and plants really do create a unique and great oasis feeling. We definitely recommend this place and would love to stay here again some time.
A very nice apartment quiet and well placed. Ideal for visiting NYC. Rachel was a very present host, and great to us. We loved the friendliness, facilities, comfort of the apartment and the terrace !! I hope to have the chance to go back someday !
Wonderful experience, great location!! I felt like I was in my own apartment. Great bed, wonderful patios! Just wish it were warmer so I could have spent more time outside. I also loved the kitchen and living room area. Thank you!!!
Rachel's apartment is lovely. It's full of her creativity, plus very comfortable and easy to live in. It felt more like house sitting for a good friend than renting from someone I'd never met! She has many personal artifacts amongst her belongings, but subsequently we felt honoured by her trust and more bound to treat her place with the respect that we would our own home.
I would highly recommend this place, and I look forward to going back in the summer so we can enjoy the outside space too!
I was amazed by how big, beautiful, and quiet this apartment is. The decks are huge and there is an incredible view of the Manhattan skyline. The location is perfect; right by the park, the train, and many fantastic restaurants and bars both in Greenpoint and Williamsburg. The building seems brand new and parking on the block was no problem.
Rachel responded very quickly to all of my questions and was very helpful. She made the whole process practically effortless.
I live in Greenpoint and rented Rachel's place for my parents to stay while they were visiting. It was SO much better than a hotel, and much more fun for them to stay in the heart of the neighborhood. I hope they can stay there every time they visit from now on.
I can't claim to be objective about Rachel. :-) She's been a great friend for such a long time. But I am downright merciless when it comes to describing apartments and their respective weaknesses. Only hers doesn't have any! There is a fabulous deck which faces the sunset and will immediately turn you into a philosopher. There's a 2nd deck - which gets less attention than it deserves. The place is only a short walk from the bedlam of Bedford, and equally well positioned to explore the bars of Greenpoint. What else can I say? Oh yes. The rooms are magically cosy. Rachel is one of those people who can put stuff down so it looks artsy (if I do it, it looks messy).
Rachel is one of the nicest and most talented people you'll meet. I think Rachel's apartment is steal for the space, the amenities, the location, and the fact that you will be renting from a great person!
I'm delighted to have been friend, collaborator, dinner party attendee, and overnight guest at Rachel's apartment over the last few years. The large multi-room apartment is bright and comfortable, and nothing compares to the view you have from the terrace just off the kitchen. Not to be missed: the park and restaurants just a half-block away!
I'm lucky to have known Rachel for going on 3 years now. She is wonderful person and a talented artist. Her apartment is amazing. I'm in love with the large terrace, and the kitchen opening up onto the spacious living room is wonderful for making dinners and hanging out. Her couch is the coolest and comfiest I've ever seen! Her whole place manages to be funky and artistic yet organized and tidy. Great Williamsburg location. You can't go wrong here!
