My husband and I moved to New Mexico for the lifestyle. The sun, skiing, hiking, golf all played into our trek out here from various states in New England.

We were welcomed with travelers' amenities--cookies, sparkling water, breakfast muffins, coffee. The grounds were well-cared-for and Jay was working to make them even better. A neat arroyo and garden for a bit of wildlife. Would definitely recommend Leolyn! Nice chatting with her husband Jay.
My husband and I stayed @Leo's for a long weekend while I attended a professional workshop. I have nothing but praise for the the entire experience. Everything was provided as promised with nice extras like fresh coffee and a few nice treats in the fridge. I was able to go off to my workshop knowing that I would be returning to a clear space, quiet, clean and well cared for. Thanks Leo for making our stay in Taos beyond first class!
Hosts were very friendly and helpful! I have stayed in Taos many times and this is by far the best place to stay. Leolyn really made the casita feel like home, not to mention she has thought of absolutely everything and added the additional nice touches (lavender on the nightstand, maple cookies, refrigerator with goodies that I definitely enjoyed...best jam). Beautiful views, comfortable/cozy. I cannot say enough about how wonderful my stay was! I highly recommend staying here if you visit Taos and hope to stay here again on my next trip.
There are not enough words to describe how wonderful our stay with Leo in Taos was! Her kindness and generosity were above and beyond any expectations we had as she accommodated us during our week stay at her casita before and after our 3-day llama trek! What a delight to enjoy Taos while staying in such a clean and comfortable home away from home. The décor of the casita and her attention to detail, including the breakfast she left for us upon our late night arrival and the maple cookies, were so welcoming! Meeting Leo was pure joy. She is so willing to go above and beyond to do anything she can to make her guests’ time in Taos the best it can be! Her daily visits to check in with us and give us great suggestions for local hikes and restaurants made our stay so much more personal and enjoyable. She definitely headed us in the right direction as far as local restaurants, which we may not have chosen on our own. Staying at Leo and Jay’s casita was the perfect fit for our time in Taos, as we were able to enjoy the town and hike in the surrounding areas during the day and relax in the casita in the evenings before we left on our llama trek. We were able to leave our non-hiking valuables with her when we were gone and then return to amazing warm showers and comfortable beds after 3 days in the wilderness! We were so sad to leave, but know that some day we will return…next time we are taking Leo with us on our llama trek!! I cannot recommend Leo’s casita highly enough!! I would not even consider staying any other place in Taos than with Leo in her lovely casita!
Leolyn was a wonderful host, very accommodating. The neighborhood felt safe considering we have an infant. I particularly loved the view of the sunset and the early morning cup of coffee outside sitting on the red chairs. We took advantage of the fireplace, which was perfect for the chilly evening that gave us a wonderful cozy family feeling. The decor created the charming New Mexican experience we were seeking on this trip to Taos.
Response from Leolyn:
Thank you for your input. I will get a couple softer pillows for a selection. I apologize about the firewood. Usually we have a stack outside of the slider. Next time!
Leolyn's casita is a perfect place to stay in Taos. My family and I really
enjoyed the stay, the setting is amazing. It was very comfortable and restful just what was needed after a hectic trip through the South West National
Parks. Leo's hospitality is second to none! Thanks,
Our experience with our host was great. She was sooo very helpful in every way.
She provided info on the area and also explained to us in more detail about Taos.
Our casita in Taos was our favorite place that we stayed at: It was quaint, efficient and lovely.-- The neighborhood was wonderful and there were lots of interesting, fun things to do in Taos.
There are 4 museums, a pueblo and many small shops to explore.
Leolyn couldn't have been a more kind and welcoming host! She gave us ample privacy, but was also available if we needed anything. The casita was incredibly cozy, had a nice kitchen, and the hot tub was a great treat. The location worked super well for us also.
What a GREAT little casita!! Sherry & I had an absolutely wonderful time in this tastefully decorated haven. We wanted a special place to celebrate our 17th wedding anniversary, and this was indeed special - beautiful setting, quiet & cozy, a fireplace, hot tub and friendly streets to ride our bikes! Would recommend it to anyone, and we'll go back. Leolyn also must be psychic because she knew Snickers was one of my favorite candies, and we loved the maple cookies that welcomed us! We're recommending this casita to our friends!!
Great home and great host. Clean and comfortable. Leo made arrival, stay, and departure easy and flexible. Highly recommended for your stay in Taos.
