My husband and I live in Rochester NY. I love to cook for my family and friends and enjoy traveling. My husband just began traveling to India to teach and consult, so that's my next travel priority! We began hosting in early 2012 and since then we have welcomed people from China, India, Korea, Japan, India, Bangladesh, UK, Australia, Russia, Ukraine, Canada, Italy, Greece, Spain, Turkey, Germany, Switzerland, Latvia, and the US. Our guests have come to Rochester for grad studies at the U of R or at the George Eastman House, begin a new job, work on political campaigns or conduct volunteer work, collect data at the Strong Museum of Play, and to visit friends and family. Hosting has been a great way for the world to come to our door and to meet interesting and adventurous people. There may be other guests here during your stay, but our house has plenty space so you can enjoy your privacy. We are easygoing hosts and will be happy to help you find your way around the area or simply give you a quiet place to be while you are in Rochester. We welcome guests of any race/ethnicity and are LGBT friendly.
