My fiancé and I stay at Josephine's and it was one of most delightful visits of our trip! Josephine is a gem and made us feel so at home, I'm not sure my fiancé wanted to leave. The house is built for a B&B, so you have a nice space to relax and sleep. The scenery is wonderful! You look out of the front door and there are the century-old ruins right across the street. Our breakfast was great and there was lots of it to keep us fueled. We would recommend this stay highly! THANKS!
Josephine offered great hospitality. She provided excellent directions over the phone to her place as we were delayed in our arrival and made sure we were comfortable. The breakfast was a feast and her place is located across the road from "Kilmacduagh Monastery" ((website hidden)_monastery), a significant heritage national monuments in Ireland.
Modern, spit-and-polish home kept by a delightful lady named Josephine, and right across from a spectacular ruin. Breakfasts were out of this world and Josephine is extremely knowledgeable not just of her own area, but of much of Ireland and is a wonderful source of guidance about places to go, restaurants, etc. We loved the cozy fires in the evenings and the beautiful, newly decorated rooms. Wonderful place in the west for people who don't like big cities.
