We were very sorry to be late! The plane was an hour late into Paris and I did get someone to call from the airport to let Paco know, however, it was difficult to know exactly when we would arrive at his apartment as we didn't know the neighbourhood and we became a bit lost after leaving the Metro.
The other time we were late was when we had to wait 2.5 hours in a queue at the Eiffel Tower and again I sent text messages, however, for some reason they were not received by Paco. I was, and still am, very apologetic and enjoyed staying at his apartment very much. I think it is difficult for foreigners to judge how long things often take in Paris, getting from one place to another!
I want to thank Paco for his hospitality as his apartment was beautiful and well catered, even leaving milk, water, cereal and biscuits for my daughter and I to enjoy.
