Unpleasant experience. I never met the host because she was moving to a different apartment. Everything was dirty (specially the bathroom) and messy (think not only about the move).
Fortunately Steve (the roomate of the host) welcomed me, helped me up my suitcase, made my bed and shared with me some delicious fruit. I have much gratitude to him because he sincerely care about me.
I had a very quiet stay with Natasha. Natasha and her roommate (?) were very pleasant and helped me carry my luggage. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was a little firm, but I slept very well on it. The apartment was a little messy. The location is very convenient - just a 10 min walk to the Porter Square T stop. There are lots of restaurants and cafes in the area. So, all in all it worked out well.
Natasha and her husband are great! Really welcomming!
I had a great stay at Natasha's house! highly recommended!

Easy communication, very nice host :) Thank you Natasha!
Great neighborhood and a very secure feeling building. The room was fine, but the bathroom I shared with other roommates was dirty as was the kitchen.
I’d like to start by saying that Natasha is absolutely the sweetest host, and was very prompt in answering all questions by email. She provided an abundance of blankets, and cleared out space in the closet for us. The bath towels were very soft.
Because of that, we’ve been dragging our feet to submit our review, but we feel that future renters should have an honest idea of what they are getting. We would perhaps have chosen a different place, but waited too long to book for what ended up being the weekend of not only the Head of the Charles crew tournament, but also 2 large biotech conferences.
The bed is indeed Queen sized, but is not a real mattress. It’s a 2inch foam pad on top of a wood board, and it’s only raised off the floor about 6-8 inches. The sheets seem to be for a smaller sized bed. We ended up using most of the aforementioned pile of blankets as extra padding, since it was rather warm in the room already. The pillows seemed a bit old, and are Chinese buckwheat – basically like a beanbag – probably an acquired taste. The rest of the room is an office area, which was mostly cleared off for us to put our stuff on.
The shared bathroom was kind of grungy, and the shower didn’t have very good water pressure (so the one of us with super long hair did not attempt to wash it during our 3 night stay).
Lastly, the apartment is up 3 flights of stairs – FYI for anyone with mobility issues.
As we said, Natasha herself is super sweet, but given what we know now, this listing seems more like what we would expect if we crashed at a friend’s place, than something we spent a fair amount of money for.
Natasha was a wonderful host and the space was an excellent value. Natasha and her friends are all working in the advanced sciences, and she is fascinating to talk to. The Chinese candy was not only an authentic and delightful touch, it was delicious!
It was clean and quite room
