It was a pleasure to host both Mac and Meg. They were very relaxed and we enjoyed chatting at the end of breakfast. Exciting times ahead for them both when they return to England. We always enjoy learning about our guests lives and we love sharing our home with such friendly folk.
Thank you Jane the pleasure was ours. We are sorry not to have met John but wish you both the very best for 2015 and asked that you are blessed with all that you strive to achieve. Mac & Meg
Mac was busy for the two nights and one day here. He seemed OK and I have no complaints except for what appears to be a negative attitude towards us reflected in his review. He arrived earlier than he indicated however I interrupted my work to greet him as soon as he arrived, we chatted about his previous stay, his army life and orientated him to the house (as is our practice) and indicated the folder where more information was provided (that obviously is instant edification). I assumed he was capable of being independent and he kept himself busy for his brief stay. I work during the day, saw him in the afternoon and asked was everything OK. He chatted with another guest in the evening and he left very early the next morning to meet his wife somewhere before heading south. I have no idea why he would feel ‘in the way’ except that perhaps we didn’t make enough fuss … but we also have our own lives.
It was a treat to meet Mac, to share time together and to be inspired by his life experience and philosophy. Mac is an excellent guest having the perfect blend of being completely at home and yet totally independent.
Sending wishes for lots of joy, love and adventure,
