Pierluigi was an awesome host, gave us lots of useful information, showed us a fantastic city tour on the map(which we followed!) and told us about a lovely little trattoria where we had great dinners, just a 5 minute walk from the house!
The area Pegli in lovely, beautiful view from the living room, we would definetely reccomand to go there!
Thanx again Pierluigi!!!!Grazie!!!
The apartment is very well located in a nice and quiet area with good
transport connection to Genova. The place itself is very beautiful with nice parks around and facing seaside . The was though a problem with electricity. If several devices are switched on there will be a shutdown. In January it is pretty cold there so you'll have to use a heater. Otherwise, good stuff! Pierluigi was very nice and helpful.
It was a great small apartment. Very tastefully decorated. It has a direct view of the Mediterranean. Lots of bakeries and even a Sunday market just in front of the apartment. Did I mention the public beach just across the street? Public transport just around the corner. We loved it! Pierlugi was very helpful and flexible, thank you!
This is a very convenient apartment that has everything you need to enjoy Genoa. We were able to walk literally around the corner and buy fresh bread, freshly made pasta and wonderful roasts. We totally enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it to others.
In addition, Pierluigi was fantastic and spent quite a bit of time with us discussing what to see in the area, how to get there, etc. He was very helpful and friendly.
Pierluigi was a great host. He is really nice and kind. The flat was clean and pretty. A very good place to stay!
First of all, we want to say how impressed we were by our host, Pierluigi. He is a warm, gracious, and thoughtful person of the highest integrity. He met us at the apartment and spent much time and care showing us maps and brochures; familiarizing us with the area, its transportation options, and local customs; and telling us which places in particular he would recommend for us to see (given our individual interests) and which parts we might want to steer away from. He made himself available by phone, text, or Internet whenever we should have questions or needs. Pierluigi is a fund of information about Italy in general and Genoa/Pegli in particular; later in our stay, he talked with us about the history of the country and about current events there. He also happens to speak impeccable English, a happy surprise for us with our very limited experience and comprehension of the beautiful and beguiling Italian language.
The apartment itself is super clean and charming, with an antique escritoire and beautiful handmade quilt in the bedroom, a firm and comfortable bed, good water pressure in the shower, all the dishes and cooking utensils necessary to make delicious meals with, and a small working stove, refrigerator, and microwave in the kitchen. There is even a washing machine! The living room has a small sofa and television set as well as lots of books and brochures in various languages, including English. The apartment is within walking distance to a myriad local food shops, cafes, and boutiques; two or three blocks away from the train station; and located right across the street from the beach, with a view of the Ligurian Sea from the living room window. We loved this apartment and the little town of Pegli, all of which became our home away from home. After having visited downtown Genova, we were so happy we had chosen to stay in quiet, peaceful, friendly Pegli! We love Genova, too, with its amazing antiquities, culinary delights, and crowded multicultural hustle-bustle, but Pegli is where we could really unwind and get centred again after hectic days of sight-seeing.
Pegli is a gem of a city! Beautiful, tall, old stone buildings in shades of terracotta, rose, butter, and sage line the street across from the Sea; gorgeous antique churches, museums, parks, and palm trees can be found everywhere, and up the hills are the larger amazing villas. Every evening the people of the city come out and promenade along the walkway overlooking the Sea. The shop and cafe owners are so friendly and accommodating. If you love nature, you can walk up into the hills for scintillating views of woodlands, terraced gardens, and a panorama of the city of Genova.
In summary, we were enchanted with our time in Pegli and in Pierluigi’s apartment, and we highly recommend it to others!

This is a good, really cosy apartment with great seaview. It was wonderful to look at big and interesting ships go across sea. Pierluigi is a great host, recommended for us a spectacular places to visit and really tasty national Italian food. From Genova Pegli (railway station near apartment) it is really convenient to bring everywhere we would like: from Cinque Terre to Torino.
This was unforgettable vacation.
Highly recommended me and my friends!!!
Pierluigi è una persona speciale, attenta e disponibile. Consiglio a tutti coloro che vorranno venire a Genova al mare di stare da lui perché so per certo che tutto sarà perfetto.
Un abbraccio amico mio.
Pegli is one of the most beautiful zone in Genoa, with a nice walk along the sea. Pierluigi is a very kind and helpful host. You will find here everything you need to spend a confortable stay in Genoa. Recommended !!
Pierluigi apartment is right on the promenade in Pegli, just a short walk from the port of Genoa. It was very comfortable and in a wonderful location. The view from the apartment on to the sea is amazing . There was everything needed to enjoy the stay! We took a ferry from right across the street to see the Cinque Terre, what a wonderful trip! Pierluigi suggested a marvelous way out of town and was the charming perfect host, and very attentive! Going back to Italy and Genoa I will visit Pierluigi again! Had a fabulous time there, thank you.
I know Pierluigi since long time, he's extremely kind and helpful. He's the right person to show you the beauty of his city and the Riviera.
His apartment is so cozy and warm, right in front of the sea in one of the most beautiful and quiet places of the city, very bright and confortable with a fully equipped kitchenette just ready to cook your "trofie al pesto" (typical genoese dish)
This apartment it's the perfect nest where you can rest after a long walk on the seaside at sunset.
Highly recommended !!!
