I really enjoyed my stay at Kristy's place on Dame St. It's literally right in the middle of the city centre, and for travelers that enjoy walking around a new city, everything is right outside your door. The apartment was great, very spacious and Kristy left a great note with necessary information so I felt very comfortable. She also made excellent recommendations of spots to hit (some touristy and some more local flavor), it was good to have a base list while exploring. I didn't meet Kristy as she was out of town, but she was very communicative and ensured that a friend was there to let me in and show me around her place. The only other thing to mention is that due to the location, it is very loud outside until early in the morning, not something that kept me from sleeping or bothers me, but it possibly could be for some. Overall I would absolutely stay at Kristy's again!
I can give a strong endorsement to Kristy and her apartment in Temple Bar, Dublin. The location cannot be beat, and the apartment was spacious and comfortable. We did not meet Kristy (due to her travel) but she had arranged things for us to check-in and out easily.
My boyfriend and I stayed in Kristy's flat for 4 days and had a great time. The flat is in an incredibly convenient location - right on Dame street so just a 2 min walk from where the bus from the airport dropped us off and steps from all the sights (2 min walk to the heart of Temple Bar, 5 min to Trinity College, 15 min to Guinness Storehouse). Kristy was very communicative before our trip and was there to welcome us when we arrived. The place was very clean and extremely spacious with good furniture: nice table for meals, comfy couches and bed. The shower pressure was also excellent. The only issue we encountered is that while it's off the main street, there are a couple bars nearby and it could be noisy at night.
Overall, this is truly an excellent apartment and I would stay there again in a heartbeat!
Absolutely fantastic flat in the best part of the City. Walking distance to anywhere where you might want to go, super spacious and clean flat, and Kristy was just perfect. Everything was perfectly organised and worked out super smoothly. And the flat was just great, especially the super comfy bed and the power shower :), we felt at home from the first minute.
Kristy was very communicative and provided helpful tips regarding our interests in music and dining in the area. The apartment is perfect for anyone looking to (email hidden)ly evening in the Temple Bar area of Dublin. The apartment is centrally located in a great spot to take advantage of the nightlife.
We stayed at Kristy's recently and loved how close the flat was to everything...basically in the middle of Temple Bar, so walking distance to a lot of sights, restaurants, and pubs. Check-in was easy, place was huge, and it's just a couple minutes walk in either direction to a couple of AirLink coach stops to get you to/from the airport.
The only minor issue was, as one other reviewer mentioned, the toilet can be a bit slow to refill/finicky, but Kristy had given us the heads up on this when we checked in.
Kristy's place was clean, organised, comfortable and in a perfect location (a few minutes from Dublin Castle, Trinity College and right in the centre of Temple Bar.) Kristy was really helpful and stayed in touch throughout the trip to make sure everything was good. Would highly recommend this place!
This apartment was great for visiting Dublin. It's centrally located to most sight-seeing places as well as great restaurants and bars. It's quiet for being on such a busy street. It's very large and the washer works great.
The pictures don't do this location justice. It's big.
The location was right in the action. Drunken crawling distance close. Because of that, it was noisy if there were any sporting events and also the weekend.
The host was totally laid back. There were no surprise fees at the end for electricity, water, or trash.
This place is perfect if you are going to the bars and events downtown.
Parking was a challenge. There were some timing issues picking up and dropping off the keys. When we stayed the toilet took 20 minutes between flushes which was a little awkward at times.
Overall if you are in town to check out the night life, this is an amazing spot that I would recommend.
Perfect city break spot. Right in the heart of the action yet quiet inside the apartment. Highly recommend
If you're visiting Dublin and looking for a place to stay, then Kristy's apartment is the place to go. It's conveniently located in Temple Bar and walking distance to many attractions that Dublin has to offer. I also had no problem walking to her place from the airport shuttle drop off. Her space is clean, inviting and comfortable. She's also a gracious host and can give you fun recommendations for the city.
