I'm a down to earth yogini, healthy, laid back, poi spinning, salsa dancing, hammock swinging, meditational yogi, chica. I have been in this house over a year and we are still amazed by the views, quietness, and nature. We love it!
I have lived in Thailand for going on 8 years. I work for a local resort teaching meditation, yoga, dance, poi and natural health. My house outside Chiang Mai city is my sacred space, where I keep my meditation & yoga practice alive and host some social gatherings.
I'm originally from New Mexico, USA. Went to college in Austin, TX and moved to Thailand shortly after college. I ran a yoga studio in California for 2 years and prior to that I lived in Pai, Thailand, where I hosted women’s retreats and taught daily asana and dance classes for 4 years. So glad to be living back in Thailand.
I have practiced yoga for 14 years and have been teaching for nearly 10 of those years. With over 700 hours of training from many styles of yoga. I have come to learn moderation is key to a healthy yogic practice.
The knowledge of Ayurveda has shown me that moderation is what keeps the vitality in ones life. And so I practice: healthy eating along with enjoying a few goodies from time to time, exercising without creating a habitual pattern, and living a gentle life style with a few wild nights to keep me sane. After all its all about the balance.
