Very nice and characteristic space on great location. The lounge area is a shared space, but mostly you have it for yourself. And even when shared, it is with great people. Thanks for the nice stay!
This was a convenient and eccentric space, though I agree with previous reviewers that it could have done with a more complete cleaning of the bathroom, it was on the damp side. Very comfortable, but a little complex in layout and interactions. The entire time I was there there was a full-blown art exhibit directly outside, which was manned daily and had a number of the artists hanging out in the living room on the couch. This gave it a college feel that I wasn't totally prepared for. All of these folk were very polite and helpful though. I'd thus recommend this to anybody who already has experience with art-loft/functional studio environments, and is willing to engage with that kind of social engagement.
Leslie was a really nice host, she was available late at our arrival even if there was an opening event for the exhibition taking place in the gallery attached to the flat.
Funny thing is that the flat is really inside the art gallery, so you can visit it and there are always artists around during the day in the shared living room or kitchen. That's a thing you have to be aware of before booking! It also means it's not a place suitable for families and children, but more for friends who are in London to have fun.
It was in a great area, really close to bus and train stations to downtown. It's also a 20 minutes walk from Shoreditch, which is a really nice place to party and go out with your friends. I would also recommend a cool place to eat: the Hackney City Farm where you can have huge brunches made directly with products from the farm.
The only negative point is the price which was really expensive compared to the standard ones. We stayed 4 nights and we paid 227€ per night (without counting the cleaning) whereas usually it's around 130€ per night for this flat. :(
Rooms are really little but we were aware of that thanks to the pictures, and beds are comfortable so that's wasn't a problem!
I would recommend this flat for people who want to have a crazy experience in London, because it's really an original and funky place, with nice furnitures and decoration. If you're more classical, it's not for you! ;)
It was fine, thank you!
Our stay at Leslies place was not quite as expected. The place was cool, pittoresque and charming by the look of it, but it was not especially clean, and the smell inside made it impossible for us to stay there... it smelled like there was quite a lot of moisture and dry rot/fungus in the walls. It might be ok for some people, but not families with kids, or people with allergies...at least it should be enlightened in the AirBnb add.
But the hosts were friendly, and tried to help us out when we told them we couldn't stay. We didn't have much contact with Leslie, but with her friend Jelica who was very understanding and tried to help us by finding an alternative
place to stay. And when that didn't work out she offered us a refund for half the cost of the one night we stayed.
All in all, Jelica and Leslie were kind and helpful, they were good hosts.
...But the ad should mention the state on the building.
NB: If they put a little bit of heart in it, dry out the walls, and clean it up a little bit more, then the place will be perfect.

The flat as absolutely amazing, all the furniture it beautiful and really unique. It's in a great, creative area with lots to do. I really recommend it to everyone! Thanks for a great stay
Such a cool, funky place! Jelica and Oliver were very kind and communicative. The location is excellent and the decor is great. There was a damp smell, but we burned some incense and that helped tremendously. Also, super comfortable beds, which is always so appreciated.
Our host was helpful and friendly and made our stay easy and enjoyable.
The place was cut and worked well for what we wanted. We had freedom to do what we needed and enjoyed our stay.
Id recommend this to funky young people as its litterally situated in the middle of an artist style warehouse net work. If your into sharing a kitchen and a lounge room then I would recommend this.
Great area to by the way.
The flat was in a great area. Very close to Dalston and Stoke Newington and to train stations. The flat wasn't as nice as the pictures suggest. There are nice fixtures here and there but the place is in poor repair overall. The floors were not vacuumed upon arrival and after the fridge started leaking water, Leslie said they would come to take a look and then never bothered.
Leslie was very quick to communicate and to the point which made everything run incredibly easy. We enjoyed having her stay!
Leslie is very communicative person who at first glance sympathies person. After her departure apartment was clean. Communication was excellent and I recommended with any doubt to future hosts!!
Leslie is a down to earth person. I found her to be too relaxed with communication and cleanliness. She booked for 1 guest but invited friends to stay who arrived the following day. I would have liked to have met them or at least be informed of other guests.
Leslie booked the apartment for a night for his parents. Andrei and Jelica were very pleasant visitors even though it was a very brief visit.
All good. Only one night so not much to say!
Leslie and her friend are great guests: they were friendly and respectful, and they left the unit in great conditions. At the same time, they appreciated the beauty of the city and the apartment. In sum, hosting them was a pleasure, and I thoroughly recommend them to the AirBnB community.
Our first guest as airbnb hosts. It was a pleasure to have Leslie and her friend stay at our place. She is welcome in Glasgow anytime!
I hope you enjoyed the studio.
Leslie came in my apartment in the afternoon with a friend and they stay just for one night.I didn't see them a lot but I see that my apartment was perfect.
May i wish better clients than this?
