I have lived in Portland for 13 years and love this place. Originally from Washington, DC I moved here to work in conservation with the Sierra Club. I took a 2 year hiatus as a Peace Corps volunteer in Senegal, West Africa, and then came back to work in business. I started my own company, GlobeSherpa, a technology startup building mobile ticketing and payment apps. We created the TriMet Tickets app that lets you buy and use your transit ticket from your smartphone here in town. I am passionate about wilderness and can be a great resource for information about hiking, camping, skiing, rafting, etc. I'm also a big foodie and into the local music and arts scene so just ask and I'll share my recommendations.
I love traveling and exploring new cultures and languages. I speak French, Spanish, Mandarin and Wolof (a West African dialect). I really enjoy meeting new people and helping travelers discover Portland.
