Yes--we live in Toronto, home of Rob Ford, but we did not vote for him, OK?
Grew up in a small town, moved to the big city, and am now teaching at a private girls' school. Math teacher. Pretty high-stress job so I escape by reading mysteries and historical fiction, and dream of travelling to the places I read about. Have enjoyed trips to Boston and NYC. Most recently, Switzerland where my sister lives, Vienna where one of my friends lives, and Paris, where my husband finally took me--yes! It snowed there last March, so David thought that this March we should go back to San Francisco where we have had two lovely March breaks. He loves the ocean and boats. I love to explore and see the sights.
Latest challenge: working out at the gym to get muscles. Other pleasures--plays, music (classical and jazz mostly), finding restaurants that are charming and serve interesting food, walking everywhere I can, and having a good laugh.
David thinks I am too concerned about cleanliness, neatness and not annoying other people, so he provides what he calls "a balance" to my opinions. He also wanted equal time here but I wouldn't give it to him because mostly what he wanted to say wasn't true (I am not a biker okay) and would just be the ravings of an English teacher with a weird sense of humour (note the Canadian spelling). So we compromised and he got these last two sentences.
We are looking forward to our first Air BNB experiences as we have heard so much about this.
