I am a french woman who likes to host people from everywhere in my appartment. Most of the time, if i can, i take the time to show my guest all the good places in my neighbourhood
so wellcome ! and maybe see you soon !
I rented Juliette's flat for one of the dancer of my dance company. All the steps of the process went very smoothly with her, she was great, she made everyhting easy.
The apartement was very nice and pleasant. Great neighborhood!
Merci beaucoup Juliette!
Merci Juliette! Me and my fiancé stayed for a bit more than a month in Juliette's pretty little flat. I must say the pictures on the site doesn't really do it justice, it is a lot more charming in real life! There is a big bathtub and a little kitchen with a hotplate & microwave (perfect for basic cooking/breakfast/salads). The area is kind of like a lively chinatown with a lot of asian markets, art galleries, hipster/bobo cafés, street-art, and (sadly) quite a lot of prostitution. But there's always a lot of people out and we never felt unsafe, I was very happy to be able to live in this bustling metropolitan area! Juliette herself was charming, communicative and helpful - tres sympa! She felt like a friend after just a few minutes and even gave us a private tour of her favorite places in the area. Do take her advice, the places she recommended were truly awseome! Thanks again,
/Anna and Olof
I didn't meet Juliette as she was out of town but her friend and then her cousin were very helpful. The place is in a great neighborhood, lots of nice restaurants and cafes and bars. I recommend staying here.
Juliette's apartment was wonderful, but Julliette herself was the most welcoming part of her place. She waited outside on a chair for me to arrive (because I didn't have a phone and there was no bell,) showed me around her neighborhood, treated me to ravioli, and made me feel instantly at home. I will count her among some of the best things I've discovered in Paris so far.
We are New Yorkers and this was our first trip to Paris. We knew we didn't want to be in the Paris equivalent of Times Square or Soho, we wanted something more like NY's Chinatown. Juliette's place was perfect: charming and in the very vibrant, diverse and young Canal/Belleville/Oberkampf area.
Even in August, when so much of the city has gone on vacation, we felt we got a good taste of Parisian life at Juliette's. Nearby cafes and bars were delicious, not very pricey, and open late. We were close to several Velib parking stations, so for cyclists who want to see the city by rented bike, it's very convenient. (The place is a pleasant bike ride away from any place you'd possibly want to go in central Paris.)
The apartment was a good size for a couple, the kitchen was small but had everything we needed, plumbing was perfect, internet was fast. We never met Juliette but we communicated by email and phone and she was lovely to deal with.
From CDG, it was easy to take the RER and the metro to her place. When we arrived, she arranged for her cousin to meet us at the apartment with the key. Everything went smoothly and I would recommend Juliette's place to anyone who prefers charm to glam.
Many thanks to Juliette! We stayed at her Belleville (Paris) apartment for 4 days. The flat is close to the Place de la Republique (about a 15 minute walk), the Canal Saint-Martin (only a few minutes on foot), and relatively close to Gare de L'est and Gare du Nord (10 minute bike ride), so it's easier to cope with early/late trains to/from Paris. The studio has loads of character, with wood beams and windows between various rooms, making it light and open throughout. It has a separate eating room, so that it feels bigger than a studio apartment. There was more than enough room for us (and our two bikes!), and it had all of the amenities that we required (including a comfy bed!). It was also nice and quiet, which is essential for me, since I'm a light sleeper. Juliette was a wonderful host, who took the time to introduce us to cool bars, restaurants, and shops in the area. She bought a few groceries for us, and left room for our clothes in her wardrobe, and for our toiletries on her bathroom shelves. She also went out of her way to make arrangements to stay with other people for a few nights, so that we could stay in her flat the whole time we were in Paris. In the end, I would definitely recommend booking Juliette's flat! She made us feel comfortable, welcome, and gave us a great place to stay while in Paris!
Not only Juliette is beautiful actress but she is also great host :-) I had fantastic time at her apartment. It's on the first floor. It's very quiet at night. She personally met me and showed the area around. Everything was provided in the apartment such as blankets, towels and etc. Juliette also brought juice, bread and jam :) It's 5 mins from train station Belleville. Actual area near metro is not very interesting but if you go further towards the canal Quai de Jemmapes is very nice. There are lots of good restaurants. I'd definitely come back!
