I'm from Peters Township (outside of Pittsburgh), but love living in the East End. I work as Financial Analyst and I'm going to Carnegie Mellon for my MBA at night. I like to run, play soccer, shop, cook and do yoga.

John was great! Unfortunately we did not get to meet Kathleen because of her work and our travel schedule. The place is beautiful and the room was perfect. Thanks John for the dinner and drinks recommendation!!
We loved the cats! Chubs in particular was very friendly and sweet. We needed a place to shower and crash for the night, and this was a great no-hassle way to do that. Kathleen was super nice, the bed was really comfortable and there were towels in the room. We would definitely recommend staying here!
Staying with Kathleen was easy and awesome! The room is so clean and the apartment is so cool. We were able to find parking right on her block. The private bathroom was also clean and awesome. The bed was comfy! We really loved meeting Oscar and Chubs, the cats. We even had the pleasure of waking up with Chubs right on our pillow, just like at home with our own cat! I would stay here again...in fact, I hope to stay here on future visits to Pittsburgh!!
Kathleen and Jonathan were very nice hosts. Unfortunately, my brother and I did not get to spend much time with them, but we did share a good conversation and they gave us lots of advice on where to go. They pointed us towards some great bars and an awesome burger place. Their place is really cool and unique looking from the outside. Inside, it's really neat and well decorated. The cats are cool too :)
Kathleen actually was away for the weekend dirk gout stay, so we never met her but we did meet her boyfriend Jonathan, who greeted us upon arrival and helped us get set-up quickly (and despite the fact that we arrived early than expected). After the first night, we didn't see either of them but we continued to do our own thing as well, so it worked out perfectly. The listing was just as described. The apartment is nice and cozy, the bedroom suited my friend and I well, and the cats were definitely friendly! There were recommendations of places to visit in a binder on the table, along with other maps, travel guides, etc. Jonathan also gave us some ideas of places to go. We went to nearby Union Pig and Chicken (one night for cocktails upstairs and own time for dinner) and both were great. East Liberty was a nice neighborhood with easy access to other areas of Pittsburgh. We had our car and found the neighborhood and city in general to be easy to navigate. The street in front of the house provided easy parking options. We would definitely recommend staying in this area and would stay with Kathleen again!
We had a fantastic weekend getaway in this charming abode! The room is comfy, clean, and fresh towels were given on arrival. Area is great and easy to get around too. Kathleen and Jonathan are wonderful hosts and made us feel very welcome.
Thanks for a super time, we would definitely stay here again.
Kathleen was a great host. She invited me to join her to dinner at her friend's place. The bedroom was nice and clean with lots of comfortable pillows. The private bathroom was nice and Kathleen laid out towels for me, helping me to feel welcome. The location was walking distance to Bakery Square as well as Penn Ave and Liberty which were fun to walk around, full of shops and places to eat. Her cats were sweet too, one cuddled up with me for the night. The other one was pretty shy. Overall a great stay in East Liberty!
Had a great three night stay here. Quiet and comfortable layout with a super convenient location for someone who wants to see all parts of the city. Cats are super cool. Beautiful and modern and relaxing place all around
Kathleen and I had been texting throughout the day to coordinate our arrival. She was just coming out the door to wait for us as we arrived a little bit early. Her house is spacious and well thought out for having guests stay over. She introduced us to the cats and showed us up to our room and guest bathroom. The room had a carafe of water and a binder with the house rules, Wi-Fi password and suggestions for local eateries and shopping, as well as info on public transportation. The area is easily walkable and has everything nearby that you would want for a short stay. We enjoyed chatting with Kathleen about the area and our trip. We definitely recommend this as a place to stay in Pittsburgh.
Great experience. The room was comfortable and everything went smoothly.
Kathleen was quiet as a mouse that had been trained by ninjas. We never met face to face, but the messages were sufficient to coordinate the stay. She left before I knew it and even cleaned up the room before leaving. Great guest. Hope to meet in person another time.
Excellent guest! Simple to communicate with. Gracious and courteous throughout the process. Left the apartment very clean!
Kathleen and her boyfriend were fantastic guests! They even inflated the tires on my bikes and gave them a tune up. They left the place in immaculate condition (no seriously, super clean!) and a lovely thank you note also. Would have them stay again in a heart beat!
Kathleen is a co-worker of mine. She's outgoinging, helpful, and accommodating. Her awesome adobe is located in a great area of the city, and if you're staying in Pittsburgh for a few nights, stay at Kathleen's. More to offer than any hotels in the area, and at a good price!
Katie is kind, honest, and clean. I would sleep anywhere that she offered. I've known her for 9 years and have no reason to doubt her integrity.... Actually...can I sleep over tonight?
Kathleen is fun, kind, neat, and awesome! I would highly recommend a stay in her beautiful home. She has cute cats and a gorgeous room for you to sleep in. This lady is the bees knees.
Kathleen is my dear sweet sister. She has a beautiful house in one of the coolest up and coming neighborhoods in Pittsburgh. Her place is very neat and clean and the spare bedroom has a super comfy full size bed. She is a wonderful lady and a perfect hostess and has a lovely family of three boys (two kittens and one human man).
