I'm a writer who loves to travel + cook. My husband and I live in Charleston with our 3 dogs. I love: lunching, making macarons, Southern Gothic, biking + Chihuahuas!

The room was nicely decorated, clean, and cozy. The bathroom was very clean and towels were always provided and replenished. We shared a bathroom with Bunny and a few others but it was never a problem timing-wise. Bunny was very welcoming and available to answer any questions we had at any time. She even had a small area stocked with snacks and juices for us to enjoy! We drove everywhere as it was a bit of a trek to walk downtown, especially since it was rainy and cold during our stay.
Bunny was very welcoming. Her place was a great location. In walking distance of all major attractions. She also provided great information about the city, places to eat, public transportation, and generally how to get around. Would definitely stay with her again!
Bunny's apartment is great! It's located about 2 miles from downtown, and it's a pleasant walk or easy can ride back and forth. There are also plenty of restaurants and bars closer by that are really cool. We would highly recommend this apartment!
Bunny was a charming Southern hostess: she went out of her way to accommodate us. She let us check-in even when she was out of town. We had to seek her out to meet her once she got home, but we were so glad we did, because she was incredibly sweet and gave great recommendations. She also helped us find a corkscrew late at night. Definitely meet Bunny when you stay here!
The bed was comfortable and the bedroom was spacious. We shared the bathroom with Bunny's roommate and the roommate's boyfriend. The bathroom is as pretty as pictured, and is stocked with extra toiletries for travelers.
Our trip to Charleston was colored by the rainy and cold weather, which made everything look more drab than usual. This may have affected our opinion of the neighborhood and historic home, which Bunny and her husband are actively improving.
There are a few fun restaurants within walking distance, but you will want a car to reach the majority of the Charleston Historic District. Therefore, this location is more comparable to the Medical Center hotels than the Historic District hotels, so consider that when looking at bnb prices.
My wife and I had a great time in Charleston, and Bunny's house was perfect for our first trip to the city. The room was nice and cozy, and Bunny was very helpful with directions and recommendations on where to go. I would definitely stay there again.
Bunny was a great host and her house was conveniently located to the restaurants on King and Spring street. The bathroom was in great shape, and Bunny supplied towels. Great Experience.
Bunny was very welcoming and provided great suggestions for our time in Charleston. The room was cute and quaint, exactly as described. Her home is only a short distance from King Street, and you can easily walk to lots of restaurants and bars. A nice room and great value!
Bunny's home is lovely and the accommodations were perfect. The room is a good size, offers privacy yet gives the charming feel of Charleston living. A private bathroom is right outside the room. Bunny is available if needed via text. Proximity to Downtown worked perfectly. Would definitely stay again.
Staying at Bunny's was our first airbnb experience, so we weren't sure what to expect. Bunny's home is lovely, and is a reasonable walk to King Street. We alternated between walking and driving due to the weather, but found her home to be a convenient place to stay. Bunny was also flexible, allowing us to stay 3 consecutive nights, then skip a night and come back for a final night. The only thing we felt was lacking was place to sit and relax aside from the bed. Overall, a nice little, simple place to spend your vacation in Charleston.
Naomi - I am so sorry! The parlor downstairs was available for you to use, and I forgot to even mention it to you. Please forgive me, and thanks so much for staying with us!
We loved our stay in Charelston. Bunny was a delightful host, and her home was incredibly comfortable. We were able to walk to Upper King Street from her location (since weather was lovely), but at night we took Uber back as the streets to and from Upper King are pretty dark. The two rooms are located upstairs in her home, and she and her husband were right across the hall from us. The beds were comfortable, and we cozied up at night under the many quilts Bunny had for guests. We loved the decor -- especially the artwork by Bunny herself -- and felt right at home. Thanks for a lovely stay, Bunny!
Bunny will treat your home with respect. We've been friends (and we work together too) for awhile (years!). No hesitation on recommending her as a good Air BnB'er.
Bunny will leave your place better than she found it, along with a nice gift that she made from found objects.
