Yanika's place is excellent because it's comfortable and not so far from the center of the city (it's also very near to public transportation). I loved the decoration: it's very bohemian, funky, colorful and nice! She's very environmentally conscious and keeps her place neat. The price is what made us decide for it but in return we got a pretty good experience!
Yanika is also very friendly and welcoming, she's easy to contact and will answer any questions you may have. She also recommended places to go visit for the few days we had at SF so that was a plus!
The only things that I didn't like was that they didn't have a microwave and that I love showers who throw a blast of water and hers only let a little out but hey, #firstworldproblems hahaha
Overall, an amazing place and person! Definitely recommend it! :)
Very nice, quaint place and very accommodating host. Close to public transit was nice, even if the BART was down at the time, MUNI was not.
Yanika was available to greet us immediately when we arrived. She gave us a tour and pointed out specific amenities she thought we would enjoy. She gave relevant info about public transportation (you can get anywhere in the city very easily) and some local favorites. Her eclectic apartment has a very personal feel, as if you are visiting an old friend. We often heard sirens, as the fire station is across the street but they did not bother us. We had a nice weekend! Thank you, Yakina!
Yanika and Marcus were super friendly, flexible on checkin/checkout times, and made great recomendations on things to do while in the city. They even gave us a bottle of wine when we first checked in! There place was has a great vibe and was perfect for us. The apartement itself was nice, clean, safe, and a little bit on the edge of the city, but close to great public transport (BART...) that made it easy to get anywhere in the city. I would definately reccomend their place in your looking for a cool place to stay in SF. Thanks Yanika and Marcus!
Nice apartment in a very strategic location! I love how it was a calm neighborhood with a short walk to the BART station and Whole foods and also a very short drive to highway 280.
Yanika was very accommodating and responsive to my requests and very flexible when it came to check-in / check-out. Thank you for your hospitality!
PROs - economical (and she gave us a deal); super friendly, responsive and accommodating hostess; very easy access to bart and muni; free/safe parking as promised
CONs - tidy but slight smoke or pet odor to apartment complex and unit; there weren't any hand or bath towels for us, nor were there any paper towels or napkins or drinking water or kitchen trash can (but there was a recycle bin!); sheets/comforter for bed and leather couch were alittle old/dirty feeling; street noise loud
Overall, a good first experience with Airbnb. Thanks!
I had great time at Yanika apartment close to major public transportation.
The two cats are very sweet and lovable. Yanika replied to all my questions and concerns.
Pro: Good location, convenient for public transportation.
Con: Too convenient for public transportation
The apartment is right above a muni streetcar stop. If you are not used to city noise, it's probably a good idea to bring ear plugs.
Yanika was very welcoming and made everything easy.
Amazing hosts! They were there to meet us and show us around. The apartment is literally one bus ride away from our favorite San Francisco spots. And of course they provided everything we could possibly need to get around and have a great trip. I highly recommend Yanika and Marcus as hosts!
Yanika and her friends were great guests. She's welcome back anytime.
Yanika and five of her friends stayed at my home for three nights during Mardi Gras. They left the apartment clean and were easy to communicate with throughout the visit. They're welcome back anytime.
