The room is really big and was cleaned everyday. Nice location for drivers. Voula, the owner, was super kind and tolds us interesting things about the cape, particularly about touristic attractions. Price convenient. The dinner was closed because of the season, so it should have been clear on the ad. for the next time. I would come back for sure.
Nice amenities for a straightforward motel: iron + ironing board, mini-fridge, totally decent water pressure. Wifi is free (nice!) but very slow; count on loading your email, but not watching Netflix. Plenty of parking, easy to get to, and walking distance of a few restaurants. Not at all fancy, but not at all expensive. When we checked in, the hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming.
Bra och trevligt välkomnande i receptionen. Vi fick tips på saker att göra i området.
Voula and co. were friendly and helpful when we arrived, late at night, and they stayed back waiting till we got there, which was nice of them. The rooms were clean and comfortable, though some of the guests got a bit noisy one night and no-one was around to monitor them. On the whole it was excellent value for money.
I was pleasantly surprised, great place! Clean, excellent 50's style diner for breakfast, great pool, clean and secure! I will return, for my next Cape Cod trip!
We were very pleased with our room at the Tidewater Inn. It was everything the website said it was and had all the amenities needed. The staff was very pleasant and helpful, in particular at recommending restaurants in the area--which were wonderful. And the location could not be better for day trips all over the Cape. Thank you to all at the Tidewater Inn.
Our stay at the Tidewater Inn was very pleasant. A throwback experience to the 70s when it was built, it has been well maintained and is kept clean and comfortable. While we didn't get to use the indoor pool, outdoor pool, or hot tub, the on-site Breakfast Diner was really convenient for a cheap and full breakfast of eggs, sausage, bacon, home fries, and toast. While Hyannis doesn't have a lot of sights to offer itself, this is one of the more affordable places I found, and it served as a great base point for touring the cape. Our favorite towns included Provincetown, Wood's Hole, and historic Sandwich. It's also great that it's only about a 10 minute drive to the ferries that take you to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard. If you don't want to pay the outrageous accommodation prices elsewhere on Cape Code, I would definitely recommend staying at the Tidewater Inn.
Lovely ,clean and central
My family had a lovely stay at Tidewater. The staff was very friendly. Tara at the front desk is excellent. We met Voula at breakfast and she was great too. If you want a no frills stay in cape cod, then this is a good match. The jacuzzi was closed unfortunately, but the indoor pool was fairly warm.
The large room and bathroom were very clean and cozy. The small balcony was great to sit on in the warm evenings. We can recommend this hotel at any rate.
