I am sorry you had an unpleasant experience at my loft and I sincerely apologize for that, though it is quite odd the way you describe my place and the way I treat my guests : "not clean"- "we were left without toilet paper" and there were "bugs(?!)" I have never had a bad review during my entire Airbnb experience, and that's why maybe I would like to clarify a couple of things:
- I have a cleaning crew coming everytime a new guest leaves (and you know that because when you asked to check out at 12pm - which I agreed to - I kindly informed you that my cleaning crew needed to come to clean the place for the new guests). The day you checked in I was out of town and couldn't check the place before your arrival, which is something I do all the times just to make sure everything is fine, eventually this time there has been something wrong with my cleaning crew, but I would have simply appreciated if you could have told me about the "not so clean" situation at my loft the day you arrived, when I emailed and texted you to check if everything was fine, and I would have definitely asked my assistant or a friend to either find you an hotel or send a new cleaning crew to take care of the place.
- The toilet paper. Shannon, I am sure you recall the message I sent you right after you told me about the toilet paper "Oh, I m sorry for that Shannon! The cleaning ppl should have left some extra for you - also, the food in the fridge is for you...in case you want. Best. R", again I would have promptly send someone to bring you extra toilet paper but you told me that you had already bought some.
Airbnb is great because it is a community of people that open their homes to others, if something doesn't work during your stay, please share your concerns with your host, you will be surprise to discover how accommodating and welcoming the Airbnb folks can be.
All the very Best,
