A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE for everyone!!! The first night the shared parking space was unfortunately compromised by a bad parker, they could not get out for dinner. I offered to pay for a cab until I could rectify the situation. Andrea had said she had been knocking on doors one whom was not answering 'but was inside' (note it wasn't even the correct unit's car), I begged her to not go around knocking on doors and disturbing the neighbor's she then threatened me that the her boyfriend was 'not as patient' as she was. I cringed at the idea of her boyfriend banging on doors and screaming for the car to move, I was VERY NERVOUS. I offered the cab once again, explaining this had never happened before. They would not accept the cab and continued knocking on doors. I offered them a refund for the first night what I charge (Air bnb of course charges fees too) and that I could contact Air bnb for them to get alternate accommodations which would make them more comfortable (which I did and it was offered via Air bnb). They would not leave. They said it wasn't enough refund for the night.
Then 3 days later after they left, I got more threats below are her messages:
This is urgent I left my pink ralph lauren dress in the main bedroom, I
need you to send it back I will send money for the postage, get back to me
asap please as it was left at the apartment and has significant sentimental
value, I will be raising hell if the cleaner took it.
And if the dress was stolen you can rest assured that I will report you for
illegally renting out the apartment
False alarm it was in my partners suitcase he moved it without my
knowledge. Regarding the matter of the refund, you offered a first night refund. That is not what has been offered through air bnb, only $100 was offered. This needs to be rectified immediately. Our first night there was a mess and very stressful. I understand human error however you were too concerned with not getting caught out and that is why I believe you wont allow anyone to use the patio and why you overstress that people are quiet. And fyi, the neighbors are not that quiet.
I had urged her not to cause commotion because we had a series of guests previously that did disrupt and of course my landlord did not appreciate, nor the neighbors. I didn't want to be kicked out because someone was ranting in the courtyard! I even explained how important this was for me because of medical conditions and she still put my unit in jeopardy and continued to threaten as you can see AFTER they left. I am so sorry the car got stuck, it was not my fault and a refund and offer for alternate accommodations was offered immediately and should have sufficed for a reasonable guest.
Thanks so much for your visit! Hope you'll come see us again for more tree house adventures!
