My wife Younju is from Korea and I'm from New Zealand, but we are now both Australians, living in Melbourne. We have three sons, all young adults in their twenties.
I was a journalist for many years, in New Zealand and later in England. I also lived in Japan for seventeen years, working first as a journalist, and then in a bank. Here in Melbourne I am a writer. I have written ten novels. Three are published by an Australian publishing company, and the others I have self-published on Amazon.,
My wife and I love travelling, and now that our sons are adults we hope to do more. We also love good food, and she is a wonderful cook. I read books all the time, and also enjoy music from around the world.
We do not smoke, and drink only a little. We try to act in our lives with courtesy and integrity. We enjoy meeting new people from all countries.
I speak some Japanese and of course my wife speaks Korean. Right now I'm trying hard to bring back all the French I learnt at high school.
