A busy mum of two who loves sharing her home with interesting people. I'll do whatever I can to make sure your trip to the Loch Ness area is one you remember forever.
Really enjoyed the stay here. We only stayed for one night, but it was all excellent. Very comfortable room, great breakfast, amazing view of the loch, and even some fudge squares with our coffee in the room.
We booked a family room for two nights based on the good reviews we read about this B&B, and we were not disappointed. The locations is ideal. The room itself was large, clean, and had a great en suite. Fiona and her family were warm and gracious. There is access to a small beach where we were able to sit by the fire right on the shores of a Loch Ness. Overall, it was a great experience.
It was my first time using Airbnb. I think their fee is a little high.
Checked in with Fiona and her family on the Monday night and stayed with them in their gorgeous newly built home until Tuesday.
I must say that Fiona and her family are great! They really made us feel welcome from the moment we got there to the point of check out.
Fiona's house is amazing! Great views of the Loch Ness - with a garden trail leading down to their own private stretch of beach.
The room we stayed in was nicely decorated and the beds were very comfy.
Overall we had a fantastic stay and enjoyed the breakfast in the morning before we set off home.
Would definitely recommend staying here if you are visiting the Loch Ness or the local area.
Thank you for having us.
Excellent and warm, welcoming hosts! A bright surprise.
Perfect! Fiona and John are very nice and friendly hosts. Breakfast is great. The rooms are all brandnew, lovingly furnished and have an outstanding view to Loch Ness and to the surrounding hills. Our two days stay has been way too short but we will come back at our next trip to Scotland.
Highly recommend a stay at Fiona and Johns! A wonderful, brand new B&B with spacious rooms well-appointed with quality amenities. We enjoyed staying in a room on the second floor with a bathtub. Fiona and John were lovely, thoughtful hosts who gave us great advice on what to see in the area and even provided a crib for our baby without being asked, which was all set up when we arrived. Their B&B is right on the shores of Loch Ness, and the views were breathtaking. We very much enjoyed our breakfasts in the morning, and they also provided delicious vegetarian options. We would return without hesitation.
The stay was amazing. I can only begin to tell how lovely and accommodating Fiona and John were. The B & B has only been open two months. It's super clean, rooms are large (by American standards) and the view on to Loch Ness is excellent. I stayed in AA room called Mhor located on the European first floor (American second floor). It had a nice balcony for sitting outside with a glass or a cup of tea. Beds and linens were comfortable. Shared areas were cosy and inviting.
I'd also like to add the Fiona was great in helping me to arrange transportation to and from Inverness so I could avoid the trouble of renting a car. The B & B is located about 7 miles from Inverness and not very walkable. With Fiona's help I was connected to Ronnie, a local driver and tour guide.
I will definitely be going back for a longer stay... Provided this gem isn't sold out for ages on. If you at even considering a stay here, you should go. You won't regret it! K
