Nice host, free parking, awesome neighborhood, just a couple blocks from the train and bus lines! It was a very basic room, but affordable, and at a great location. We had an awesome stay, and spent time exploring Pilsen...the apartment was literally 2 blocks from the National Museum of Mexican art, beautiful murals throughout the neighborhood, good vintage shopping and restaurants. And with it being located so close to the buses and trains, we were easily able to get to the downtown area and all of the area museums (but it was far enough away that we were not troubled by the noise!) We would definitely stay here again! :D
The apartment is not numbered and the building was locked, but after we connected, Bahareh made us feel welcome. :) We needed a bed and the basics. Pretty natural light and a fabulous cat named Betty was the highlight of our stay.
I had a very great stay at Ryan and Bahareh's place. They are very welcoming and made me feel at home in their apartment. The room is nice and very quiet. They also have been very accommodating and understanding with unexpected mishaps. Thank you!
The room was as described in a cute apartment very close to the metro. The neighborhood is fun, with a great bakery and several restaurants nearby. Plus, there was parking behind the apartment and a very sweet cat!
Very nice and cosy apartment! The bed was comfortable, the place was easy to find (and is only 3minutes walk from the nearest metro station, and the line goes straight to downtown) and the area seemed safe. Very good for anyone visiting Chicago. Highly recommended!
We had a really nice couple of days with bahareh and Ryan. They where warm and welcoming and even cooked us dinner one night. The Pilsen area is very cool, lots of hipsters and very close to the downtown area. I would recommend this place to people staying in chicago.
It was a nice location, a short walk to the train station and a quick ride into the city. Room was clean and well prepared. Bahareh was very helpful in getting us into the place and providing a place to stay before the Chicago marathon. We both liked the neighborhood, was a very vibrant neighborhood, street vendors selling grilled corn on the cob and various other goodies. We had dinner at MetziSoy Cafe about a block away, vegetarian and vegan options, loved the soy chorizo Tacos. Was a nice experience, we were able to get to sleep early and wake up rested for the marathon, and run it at record pace :)
Great space with gracious hosts! The apartment itself is peaceful and located in a great neighborhood. Parking was relatively easy and there were great places to eat nearby.
I very much enjoyed my stay at Bahareh & Ryan's place! The apartment was delightful and full of light, and the neighborhood of Pilsen is fun to explore with convenient transportation options to get downtown.
Also, Bahareh & Ryan were so nice and welcoming, and they were extremely accommodating to my cat and very flexible with check in and out times. I highly recommend staying with them!
Bahareh and her friend Cat were great guests. They obviously enjoyed Austin and were so open to hearing about places to go and cool stuff to see. It was very fun to be their "tour guide". I would gladly host them again.
