My husband and I are living the dream of building our little "Gentleman's Farm." While we both work full time, (I am a teacher, my husband is an Engineer) we also raise sheep for Fair, FFA, and show lambs. Between the two of us we have four horses and a pony for the grand-kids, the sheep of course, chickens, ducks, a couple of turkeys and one day, peacocks. I ride English and side-saddle and show in eventing and dressage when I can. When we are not busy with the animals we are working in the gardens. I love to garden and am continually improving my vegetable and flower gardens.
My husband and I are history buffs and participate in Civil War re-enacting. My husband is also of Choctaw decent and it is not unusual to see a tipi set up on our backyard or a hide getting tanned. . When he gets a chance to sit down he does some beading or works on leather.
We enjoy meeting new people. It may be a cliche but here you really will, "come as strangers, leave as friends." We look forward to meeting you.
