I am a professional living and working in Downtown Toronto. Having worked in many different locations in North America, I have found a lot of interest in meeting people from different cultural backgrounds.
It was a great time we spent at the home of Jay. The apartment is close to everything downtown. The space is clean and pleasant, well equipped to receive guests. Jay was very attentive to me and my family. It was really a good time we had in Toronto.
It was incredibly generous of Jay to offer his apartment at no cost through Airbnb to people affected by the Ice Storm of Christmas 2013. We were grateful that, after days of freezing with no end in sight, we could have somewhere warm to spend the holiday with our daughters during the brief time one of them was in town.
We really got lucky with the apartment. The location was unbeatable, right in the centre of town for very easy access to the subway. We quickly found the late night grocery and made our first home-cooked meal for days. The rooms were comfortable, easily accommodating four adults. We even had a great view of downtown!
Jay showed great kindness and consideration. We will always be thankful for his gift to us of a warm, comfortable place to spend time together.
My two roommates and I had a great stay at Jay's apartment for just over two months while we attended a course. Jay was accommodating and his apartment is in a fantastic location, close to all the necessities and transit. Thanks, Jay!
Jay's apartment was super cool! Great location right in the heart of Toronto and close to everything. Super rad grocery store across the street (did I mention it's in Maple Leaf Gardens?) and you're able to reach everything on foot. Ample space in the apartment itself and plenty of room to spread out if you have company. This is my new place to stay when I'm in town. Jay was really nice and easy to get along with. I'm sure he would've been fun to share a beer with, too. Thanks again, Jay!
Response from Jay:
Thanks Jason! I am glad you guys enjoyed. You are most welcome to stay again whenever you are in Toronto.
This was our first airbnb experience and we loved it!
Jay was very helpful with arranging our stay, hospitable and always answered quickly to messages.
The apartment is very well located to discover Toronto and the inside fits exactly to the ad. Moreover we had the chance that nobody had booked the other room so we had the apartment for ourselves!
Thank you Jay!
Response from Jay:
Thanks for being great guests Lucile!
My family and I drove up for a wedding in Toronto. Jay was very easy to work with, very accommodating, and very helpful. We arrived later than expected because we were driving from Virginia and hit traffic and he worked with our schedule. The place was in a great location with a lot around. There were 4 of us and it was perfect for what we needed.
Well, I have stayed here a few times already. Again, it was a great experience. Jay was very helpful. By now, I know the drill of course. So, it was all very familiar.
This was my second stay with Jay!
I was in town for a conference this time. Again, Jay was very hospital. The room was clean and quiet. I especially liked the location downtown.
The last day of the conference, I really appreciated that Jay was flexible with the check-out time.
I'll be going again.
I had a great time with Jay this past week. The place was quiet and clean. The location is amazing, close to everything: groceries, bars, banks and the TTC. I definitely hope to return on my next trip to Toronto.
Jay's little place is perfect. It is ideally located down town Toronto. Jay is a good communicator and is very meticulous about making sure things go well and according to the ground rules. I had a great stay with Jay and would recommend it for anyone who wants to be in the heart of it all.
Jay was a very tidy, respectful, and pleasant guest to have at the home. We were away and came home to ait delightfully clean and well looked after.
Jay was great! He joined us for a tasty dinner and was very interesting and easy to talk to. Come back anytime, Jay!
