Sheila is absolutely wonderful, and her home is beautiful, clean, and cozy. Only sorry we couldn't have stayed longer. Sheila went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable and was such a delight to get to know. The house is close to Peterborough, which is a lovely town with antique stores, bookshops, and good restaurants. We couldn't recommend spending a weekend there more, relaxing by the fire, reading, walking along the country lanes. A beautiful place with a gracious host!
Another amazing time! Sheila is an incredibly gracious host. We truly enjoyed our time at her beautiful home in Temple and hope to see her again!
My girlfriend and I enjoyed our stay at Sheila's home so much! Sheila is so full of warmth and hospitality, and her home truly felt like a home away from home. We enjoyed a perfect relaxing evening in front of Sheila's wood stove and enjoyed a delicious homemade breakfast prepared by Sheila the next morning. Thank you again, Sheila, for making us feel so welcome!
We enjoyed our stay with Sheila immensely. The house is beautiful, well kept, and very accommodating The sole heat source for the home is a wood stove, and though the weather was quite cold, we were not uncomfortable at any point. The bedding was of good quality and very warm, and the breakfast provisions were generous. Sheila is a gracious and warm host. We would recommend her and her home to our friends and family, and would likely stay there again in the future.
We enjoyed our stay in New Hampshire and Sheila's place was a great place to rest in the "middle of it all." It was a bit far out and we arrived late without having a chance to eat, but Sheila made sure we had something. Thanks so much Sheila for the kind hospitality, the wonderful breakfasts, the tips for places to go and for opening your home to us! xo Brandy and Brandon
Response from Sheila:
Thanks Brandy and Brendon, It was a pleasure meeting you.getting to meet folks like you is why I enjoy airbnb so much!
We had a great time staying at Sheila's place. As she notes in her review, we were on the run while we were staying there due to commitments with family and friends. We would have loved to have stayed another day to have enjoyed the area. Waking up and having a lovely pastoral view from our bed was delightful!
Sheila went out of her way to make us feel at home. On Sunday morning she prepared a luscious omelet along with her delightful spread of fruits, cheeses, yoghurt, breads, etc. Thanks, Sheila! We would love to come back!
It was wonderful to meet Sheila and to stay in her comfortable home. I was attending a conference locally that involved long days and some very late nights, and it was never a problem. Sheila was easy going and great to talk to at the end of the day (and in the morning). She and her home were a "godsend" for me. (Sheila, you know what I mean!) This was my first experience with airbnb and if it's always like this, I would do it over and over again. I'm looking forward to seeing Sheila here in the Bay area soon!
My Parents really enjoyed their stay at Sheila's house. Sheila is a very kind person, who gives everything to make her guests feel comfortable. And obviously she is good in that, because my parents were totally content. Her House is clean and really cozy, like shown on the pictures.
My parents highly recommend the stay at Sheila's.
During my one-year stay in the US my parents were visiting me for a couple days. So we had to look for a nice place to stay close to the town of Peterborough. We have been successful at last.
Sheila is the best airbnb host I've met so far. My parents had a very good time there and even wanted to stay a little longer. They had great conversations with Sheila and her family, a very nice room, rich and healthy breakfast and good access to the local hikes. Plus: Sheila is an awesome painter. It's just worth it to go there to see the paintings on her wall.
Thank you very much!
Sheila is a cheerful, easy-going, yet also considerate person. My parents spent five nights in her lovely blue cottage and enjoyed the talks over breakfast or evening tea
My father especially loved speaking to her in Dutch, and on April 30 they all celebrated the new Dutch King, Prince "Wilhelm van Oranje" - quite an emotional event!
We hope to see Sheila again some day - maybe in good old Europe - and wish her all the best for the future.
Sheila was a super considerate and lovely guest to host in San Francisco. She was super gracious about my being a complete lunatic over hosting Thanksgiving and then didn't even eat much leftovers! She is clean, friendly, warm, and a very good communicator. Anyone should be happy to host or stay with her! Thanks Sheila
Sheila is a warm, interesting, and profoundly generous person, who I've had the pleasure of knowing since I was a child. We were in the same painting class for years, and she single-handedly coordinated our class trip to Florence, which was an amazing experience. Anyone would be lucky to stay with Sheila, or to have her as a guest.
Sheila is a gracious hostess and her home is warm and inviting. That area of New Hampshire is beautiful with a quaint town nearby. I really enjoyed my stay there
Sheila is a world traveler, very artistic, friendly, inquisitive, and down to earth. I think anyone would enjoy her company. I have known Sheila for 15 years and can attest to her character and bright personality!
We know each other through our children who are friends and attended Waldorf School together and in our work as Companions to people with disabilities.
