This was my first foray into trying Airbnb, so I did not know what to expect. Elizabeth was very prompt in answering our initial questions, cheerful and helpful. We had a large group that needed a specific configuration for the rooms, and Elizabeth was patient and accurate in helping us determine if this house would fit our needs. The pictures and descriptions of the house accurately reflect what you experience, so we were thrilled to "get what you see". Elizabeth met us on the property when we arrived, and made us feel very welcomed. The location is great, as The Grove is just up the street, and downtown is a short drive. Sidewalks allowed the runners in our group to get in some great runs during our stay. Lots of good books throughout the house, and some DVD's as well. The entire experience helped contribute to a memorable weekend for our group, and Elizabeth helped make that possible with her attention to detail, promptness in returning phone calls/e-mails, and cleanliness of the house.
Elizabeth is a gem and the house is gorgeous. Great communication throughout the process. We were met at the house and shown around and everything was explained to us. Beautiful neighborhood within walking distance of The Grove Park Inn. Highly, highly recommend.
Truly a wonderful alternative to the Ashville hotel experience! With an overflow of extended family arriving for our daughter's wedding, we sought a more relaxing venue for our Canadian clan to enjoy the local atmosphere and feel "at home" for a few days while visiting. Our hosts were gracious in communication, accurate in the details of their charming home and ultimately provided one of the highlights of the long wedding weekend. Lovely neighborhood, close to all amenities, plenty of room for 3 adult couples and an adult offspring. A smart, affordable and relaxing choice!
Thanks so much Jessica and Family! We really enjoyed meeting you and hope that our paths will cross again one day! All the best!!!
Elizabeth could not have been more welcoming and kind when we arrived to Asheville! Her home is absolutely beautiful, located just a short walk to the Grove Park Inn. A perfect location for a family visiting town! Elizabeth's house is unbelievably comfortable and spacious, and really made our weekend special!
We're a group of 7 women who gathered in Asheville for a reunion. The house suited us perfectly. We needed enough beds, a place to hang out and visit, and proximity to Asheville's wonderful downtown. All our expectations were more than met. The house was very clean. We loved the patio. The owner did stop by to use his office, which we were fine with. The possibility of him needing to do this was clearly disclosed before we choose this lovely home.
This house and host were great! I rented this house to accommodate my immediate family during their visit to Asheville. There was more than enough space for 7 adults and 2 children. The house was very clean, classy and organized. The host was very kind, responsive and accommodating. The neighborhood is located between two awesome parts of Asheville; downtown and the Grove Park Inn. Parking was great, Back yard was great, atmosphere was great!
Thanks so much Chandler! You and your family are welcome back anytime!!!
The house was very comfortable and clean and felt warm and friendly. All of our group of 7 enjoyed the stay. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking - although we found that with all the great restaurants in Asheville, we were more interested in dining out!
We met briefly with Elizabeth and her family when we arrived, and in a very short time, they gave us lots of good ideas for fun while we were there, and we did have a wonderful time in Asheville.
Lovely family, lovely place to stay. The one drawback was the lack of curtains/window coverings in some of the bedrooms. There was quite a bit of traffic on the street during the night/early morning, and for people who prefer a dark room for sleeping, the repeated headlights shining in the windows were a drawback.
Elizabeth is a fun personality. Her tour of where and how to do everything was comprehensive. The highlights of our stay were ... wonderfully comfortable beds and good showers ... a warm and spacious home ... having breakfast on the outside patio. Notably, their home is incredibly clean and is well located with quick access to pretty much everything.
The reservation was canceled 2 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Every year I plan a weekend getaway to a different city for my closest girlfriends and we always rent a house because we love to cook and relax together when we're not off sightseeing or eating our way through local restaurants. This year we were very fortunate to have stayed at Elizabeth and Hutch's house. It was exactly as advertised -- charming, spacious, clean, comfortable, and conveniently located in a lovely, leafy, quiet neighborhood. Elizabeth was a gracious and welcoming host who gave us great insider tips on what to see and do in Asheville. Our communications were absolutely seamless throughout the planning process. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat and would recommend it to anyone traveling with family or a group of friends. Thanks again Elizabeth!
Thank you so much, Deborah! It was great meeting you and we would be so happy to have you and your friends back anytime!!!
Hutch was a great guest and easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend hosting him.
Thanks so much, Aryana! Your place was great!
Very nice family! Would love to have them stay if passing through again!
It was great seeing Hutch again, along with son Hutch and friend Dave. This was the third time Hutch has stayed with us and I'm enjoying getting more acquainted and learning about his project. He is welcome anytime and hopefully, Elizabeth and the girls will be able to come again soon.
What a wonderful family! Elizabeth, Hutch, and their 3 youngsters have restored my faith in humanity! They are solid citizens and are instilling their children with good old fashioned values. We had interesting conversations about Hutch's projects and their own Bed and Breakfast experiences. I hope to see them again.
Didn't actually meet Elizabeth's husband, Hutch, and his friend- but they were the perfect guests: very good with communicating their plans and left the place SUPER clean. Hope to see their awesome rental in Asheville one day!
very courteous, clean, and respectful - wonderful guests and absolutely quality people!
Would have them back any time.
Super friendly and clean. Would be glad to have as a guest again.
