ich freue mich schon sehr auf viele, viele nette Gäste aus aller Welt!
Bis bald bei mir!
It's been a pleasant stay! Nina is a nice host, whom I can recommend to everybody. The flat was clean and the kitchen equipped with everything you need. I would go there again - and maybe again and again :)
I had a wonderful week in Berchtesgaden , Nina's rental apartment is sweet, cozy, comfy, private and modern...perfect home base for exploring and enjoying a Bavarian holiday!
And it is so great to have your own kitchen!
Nina and her mother Monica are delightful, many thanks!

Room - Exactly as described. Warm and cosy with a comfortable bed, private wash/shower facilities and kitchenette etc, well stocked with essential utensils.
Location - For Berchtesgaden or any of the surrounding attractions it was idea. I've come to Berchtesgaden for many years as my grandparents lived there and knew this would be only a few minutes walk to town which it was - perfect! We were also skiing and found it very easy to drive to Flachau in Austria from Berchtesgaden (about 45 minutes away).
Parking - Street parking was perfectly fine and there is no risk to any items if leaving within the car.
Note that if going during Christmas, all shops are normally closed from the afternoon of the 24th and do not open again until the 27th so you may to consider provisions unless eating out. Petrol stations are generally well stocked.
Lastly, a thank you to Nina's mum for leaving us with some lovely German biscuits which we devoured in very little time!
Fantastic stay! We were delighted with the room, breakfast and location. Clean, patio with a view-- everything perfect.
Convenient bus stop, grocery and restaurant. Nina and her parents were superior hosts.
Bertesgaden is a lovely town in the Alps. Crystal air, the beauty of old buildings, nice people. We loved our stay in this beautiful place. Our apartments were comfortable. There was a separate entrance, a beautiful terrace and a marvelous view of the Alps, in the old church. The hosts were very nice people. Beautiful and clever daughter Nina, elegant friendly lady - my mother Nina and very pretty gentleman - Nina's father. In general, our impression is very vivid and remembered by us all. I am happy to be back here again. Near the house there is a supermarket, which is open until 8:00 pm. The train station about 5 minutes to go and walk about 15 minutes. From the train station buses to Koenigssee (go long) and another bus to the Eagle's Nest (with change, but too close). Is also very close. From the terrace of our house to be seen "Eagle's Nest" .. We were traveling without a car and it was not difficult in these places. Everything here is well organized for tourists. These fabulously beautiful place it is necessary to visit the travelers.
We really liked our stay at Nina's house, it's very clean, roomy and close to town. Several restaurants are a 5 min walk and town is about a 15 min walk, if you don't want to walk there are buses on a regular basis that will get you to town in 5 mins. There's also a bus to the historic city center on the hill above which you should not miss as it is the quintessential Bavarian alps village. Don't wonder if the mnts are far away or hard to see, they rise right out of town and you can see the Watzman, the highest peak in Germany, right from their patio! There are buses to the huge lake Konigsee where they keep a ski lift open for a view of the area, only a 20 min bus ride and to nearby villages for more access to the National Park. We took the tour to the Eagles Nest, Hitlers old tea house, one of the few structures not destroyed after the war, it's perched on a mnt peak with a killer view if it's not clouded in. Even if you don't want to pay the $70 US for the guide, you should at least take the buses to the top,
through the tunnel and up the elevator for the experience and the view. You can tour the the Center and tunnels on your own but we felt having a guide made it more meaningful. If your on your own you can pick the time you want to go down so you could stay up there for hours and do some hiking amongst beautiful rocks and flowers. It's can be significantly colder up there than in the valley, on Sept 17th there was 3in of new snow, so make sure you bring extra clothing any time of the year and although we saw some women in high heals and people in dress shoes I recommend sturdy footwear, it is a mountain after all ! With a moderate amount of research you can find all kinds of things to do, we discovered a flea market behind the alpine store next to the visitors center on the week ends, not real big but good prices. We did meet Nina, a very nice person and she gave us some great info on some beautiful hiking areas, yes Nina, we found the waterfalls, thank you! And thanks to Nina's mom for her great breakfasts' and answers to many questions. Make sure you book asap as this place fills up fast!
schöne aussicht :)
Our stay was perfect:
- The room is very cozy, reflects exactly what is stated in the notice. Quiet, well maintained and delightful place.
- Ideal situation. It's a short walk from the train / bus and the center of Berchtesgaden. A few steps away from a supermarket and brewery.
- The breakfast, prepared with love.
We didn't met Nina but her parents took care of everything perfectly. It is a very nice detail pick us up and take us to the station.
We would have liked our messages to be answered before the trip, but we saw that, despite having no response, they were considered i.e. shortly before our expected time of arrival they contacted us to pick-up us at the station.
In short, my wife and we have been very happy with you. Thank you!
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Berchtesgaden. The Geiger family were all very friendly and helpful and the accommodation provides everything you need for a couple to have a comfortable stay. In walking distance are a supermarket and a local restaurant offering good value. The actual town is a longer walk up the hill - so pretty with numerous restaurants, the Church, Schloss and shops all worth visiting.
During our week we visited Lake Konigsee, Lake Hintersee, the Salt mine and Eagle's Nest (joint ticket ) Jenner by cable car, Bad Reichenstall and Salzburg.
Nina is a wonderful woman, very very sweet, clean and respecful, accomodating and easygoing. she's the best host you can wish for your hotel. her energy's aura is paceful and warm. definitely i raccomand her as a guest.
thank you Nina i wish you all the best
