I'm originally from Texas (5th generation). I've always worked in non-profits, but now I'm working as a real estate specialist in SF. I'm an avid hiker and backpacker, and I love to snow ski.

Wonderful stay. The apartment was the perfect little oasis from the colourful streets below. Don't be put off by the area. sure, some parts of it are sketchier than others but anyone with 2c worth of common sense will be fine.
I am very surprised by your comment.
I did not tear any curtains????
The support(medium) of shower dislocates itself systematically (but certainly not torn away(extracted))
By courtesy I did not want to leave of negative comment.
I sent you a message to indicate you:
In the cooking(kitchen) plates(patches) and oven dirty trés,
The television did not work
I sent you a message for it, and to organize my departure (keys and the hour of my departure) no answer.
We never met.
I spent great time in this clean and comfortable apartment . Steve was good host. I recommend this airnbnb !:-)
This was a great place to stay. I was able to get around the city on foot fairly easy. The apartment is very nice and clean and Steve was more than willing to be flexible with my check-in/check-out times. The neighborhood isn't for everyone, but I loved it.
Beautiful place, with basic kitchen supplies. Nice comfy bed, and a great shower. Nice and close to Trader Joe's and Contraband Coffee. Steve is super cool and responsive - big thumbs up. Only drawback is the TenderLoin area itself, which is doesn't feel very safe. That's the TL though.
It's a great house, small but cozy!
Darling place overall; best thing about it was the location. It is quite small, keep that in mind. It works well if you plan on going a bunch...
We had a great time in SF at Steve's place! The apartment has everything we needed, clean and was comfortable to spend some great vacations in the city.
Probably, the only disadvantage (which is actually one the city has in many places) are the hills and big slopes. Every so often you check the gps and looks like a 10 min walk or by bike, but then you find out it's more than 20 cause you have to almost climb a mountain. So, this apt is not in one of those mountains, but it's going up a little and when you're walking the whole day I think is something to consider.
Last but not least, something I want to mention is that Steve even helped us with additional things that extended the contract of an apartment, and that's something we really appreciated.
Thanks once again :D
The apartment was beautiful and Steve was a very gracious host. We stayed for five weeks and when there were things we needed (some extra stuff for the kitchen, gas fireplace fixed, etc), Steve responded right away and made sure we were always taken care of. Thank you, Steve!
Loved staying in this classic San Fran house with high ceilings and lots of charming historic details in the home. The layout was great - especially for two couples - and would have easily been comfortable for 6 people. The back garden was lovely. The location was fabulous - so close to everything and lots of great coffee nearby on Hayes and at Patricia's Green park. Steve was super responsive to our last minute booking request and we really appreciated his efforts around our check-in and check-out requests.
On the less awesome side, Oak Street is noisy. It's not the end of the world but you certainly hear rush hour in the morning. And while we didn't need an extensively stocked kitchen, this place was a bit slim on the feels-like-home amenities.
Steve is a wonderful, genuine, efficient person.
He is a delight to deal with. He gets things done, has an interest in what he is doing and great knowledge of real estate and San Francisco itself!
You'll be glad that you rented from or to Steve!
