Adrien is very kind. The room have everything .
The neigborhood was amazing, in a perfect location. The apartment was as sawn in the pictures but very small, the top of the floor was very low. Apart from this, everything was ok.
The description of the apartment matched what we were expecting, it was in a nice location, and clean/comfortable. Adrien was a bit hard to get in touch with at first but that problem was eventually resolved. The ceiling beam in the loft upstairs was annoying at times because you constantly had to remember to duck so that you wouldn't hit your head. Like other reviews have mentioned, maybe it should be painted a different color so that it's easier to see and avoid. Overall staying at the apartment was a nice and comfortable experience!
Adrien was very easy to communicate with- and when our flight was delayed, he arranged a friend to show us into the apartment. Location was the main attraction for this warm and welcoming apartment. For such a central location, what a lovely quiet and friendly environment surrounds the flat, with a delightful range of shops, cheese, bread and specialty shops, and some lovely restaurants at the doorstep. And we even attended free recitals including a grand organ concert immediately across the road in the St Louis cathedral. Like all new and compact environments we practiced being mindful, especially when moving about at night upstairs (one of us is well over 6 foot and did not hit his head on the ceiling beams). We so enjoyed this apartment. Great shower. It looked like A driven had installed a good stereo so next time we will bring CDs. Excellent value. Comfortable apartment.
Adrien made us feel extremity welcome. We didn't arrive or leave until late and this was no problem. The apartment was lovely and just as described. It included everything we needed and really went a long way to make our trip a great one.
The apartment is absolutely wonderful and in an amazing area! We hardly felt the need for leaving the island as it had great restaurants and shops right outside the door. The flat has everything you need. We didn't get to meet Adrien, but he was helpful and accommodating to our arrival time. Would love to come back!
The flat is just as it is on the pictures. It is very homely and cosy. You can when you are in the living room hear the bells of Notre Dame! It doesn't get more Parisian than that. Brilliant stay. I will certainly go back!
Adrien communicated with us well prior to arrival. We were met promptly by his friend who didn't speak much English, at our arranged time in front of the building which was easy to find as there are just a few streets on Ile de San Louis. Everything was clean. The apartment is exactly as pictured, charming, two floors, with a low 6' 6" ceiling and two 5' beams to navigate upstairs. (You have to remember this if you go to the bathroom in the middle of the night.)
The location is incredible, right in the middle of the Seine, under a half mile to Notre Dame cathedral. Lots of charming shops and restaurants.
We never could figure out how to use the television and soap was in short supply.
Adrien was very accommodating and helpful for our visit to Paris. The apartment was comfortable and everything we needed for our stay was provided and available.
Adrien was very easy to deal with and emailing was fast.
Adrien's apartment is a great little Pied-a-Terre in Paris. The location is perfect; tucked away in a quiet building on the main street of I'lle Saint Louis, and just one floor up. Shopping, cafes, bakeries and galleries are just outside the front door. The Metro is only a few blocks away, just across the bridge. The good news is the location, its convenience and it is quiet. The bad news is it is small, really small and with no view; but no street noise. The bedroom and bathroom are upstairs in a loft; the telephone is up there, too. But the ceiling is really low and there are two 10" beams to go under; one into the sleeping area and the other into the bathroom. Luckily we each escaped without knocking ourselves out.
Adrien is a good accomodating host. He met us at the building when we arrived. He helped us with our bags up to the apartment and explained the apartment and answered all our questions. Overall it was a very positive experience.
Adrien is a friendly, warm guy who will happily welcome you into his charming Parisian apartment. Adrien will recommend some excellent restaurants for all tastes and budgets and will be available for anything you need to help to make your stay as comfortable as can be. You can trust Adrien and his great apartment during your Paris trip.
