Building was beautiful - close to Metro and other conveniences., Supplies in the apartment were sparse (ie towels, Kleenex, clocks) Not unpleasant, but cannot give a great overall rating.
Great rental! Location, apartment, amenities are exactly as described--only better! Everything in the apartment was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. We felt totally like we were in our own home. Communication, check-in/out went smoothly and Peter was prompt in responding. This was our 1st airbnb experience, and we'd do it again without hesitation!
Peter's apartment is great. I stayed 2 nights with a work colleague and it was very comfortable -- we especially appreciated that 2 of the bedrooms have their own bathrooms, and that there was parking in the building. We were disappointed that we didn't have time to check out the rooftop or gym -- maybe on a subsequent stay! I would recommend this apartment to other people looking for a very nice respite in DC!
This is an excellent 3 bedroom unit in an excellent apartment complex in a very good location - about a mile north of the Capitol building. The pool, gym and other common areas in the building are new and very high end. The apt itself is very nice, clean, extremely soft beds, everything works, plenty of dishes and cooking items. While in the apt, I did not hear any neighbors during my 1 week stay, so either the sound insulation is excellent or they were all out of town. The host was great to work with. I did not have a car so cannot comment on parking, but was told that it's available in the building. The metro station is a short walk away. A nice supermarket and a CVS are both next door - very convenient. There are no dinner restaurants nearby so either plan to eat out in a different part of town or cook in. One of the best meals that I had in DC was dinner at Siroc. Also, the food at Old Ebbit Grill next to The White House was quite good. A super fun way to see the DC monuments, Smithsonian museums and National Mall is to rent a road bike at Bike and Roll at the Old Post Office (metro stop: Federal Triangle), weather permitting of course. It's not expensive, allows you to cover a lot of ground fairly quickly, and it's FUN - especially biking around the reflecting pool at the Lincoln Memorial, and around the Tidal Basin. They give you a helmet (optional for adults) and bike lock for each bike with each bike, and they have great kids bikes too.
Peter's apartment is exactly as stated on the website. Extremely clean and organized. Peter was a wonderful host, providing us with details for the apartment, as well as local restaurants. I will definitely recommend this apartment for other travelers who wish to explore Washington D.C.
We are a family of six and Peter's apartment exceeded our expectation. Everything was wonderful from the location to the train views from the apartment windows. Also Peter and his brother Nathaniel were very nice and helpful. Definitely an A+ .
Family of 6 from Denmark had a wonderful stay in Peters apartment. It was spacious, clean and exactly as pictured. We enjoyed the pool in the warm summer heat - perfect!
Our rental car parked safe in the basement.
It is the perfect stay central i Washington DC close to everything and we can highly recommend it.
Just returned home yesterday but our memories of our grandsons first birthday will always live in our fondest memories. Equally important was the location of where our family members would live while attending celebration various functions in the area were my grandson resides with his family. We could not of picked a better location, close to Union Station, their home, the Metro, Harris Teeter, Starbucks, Art and Soul and other restaurants, and of course Capitol Hill. The building was fantastic we could work out, enjoy the pool, and sit and talk about our day on the rooftop. The apartment meet all our needs , three bedrooms, two full baths, a modern kitchen, dining space to eat and a living room full with access to Netflix, wifi, and the stereo sound system. People in the building were very friendly. We would definitely rent again and we will also let other's know about this wonderful place in the heart of DC. that was worth the money, in fact saved us dollars since we cooked and ate in most of the time.
Checking in and out was very easy with on site parking. We thank Peter and his brother Nathaniel who provided us with enough information that allowed us to feel like we were at home.
The apartment was very clean, comfortable, spacious and exactly as described. The location is excellent for exploring Washington, D.C., and very close to a City Bike Rental station, Metro and Harris Teeter. The communication with Peter was always very easy and always very friendly. All in all a great experience. Thank you Peter!
Peter is a wonderful host. The property is just as described. Great location if you are in town for a convention...or to explore the neighborhoods if you are on vacation.
