Lea's Paris apartment was beautiful. Spacious and clean, beautifully decorated, sunny and great views. The terraces from every room really make the place special. My 9 year old daughter and I just stayed there for a week in June. Lea was kind enough to meet us when we arrived and show us around. She gave us the directions to one of the best bakeries in Paris that was a short walk away. The neighborhood is really great, right near the Canal St. Martin, and feels off the tourist track but at the same time close to everything you would want to see. I highly recommend this apartment and would stay their again on our next trip.
Lea is a really nice host, the flat is perfect located: close to restaurants and cafés with a really Parisian atmosphere! We had a great week at Lea's flat, we recommend it! Thanks Lea and Mathilde!!!
A friend and I spent four days at Léas apartment and it was the perfect place for us to enjoy Paris and feel like two parisians. Her charming apartment was located very close to the metro in a quiet area and was, according to us, a excellent spot for exploring Paris either by metro or by foot.
Léa was clear and easy when communicating with us and made sure that everything would be smooth and that we wouldn't have any unanswered questions. When we came there we met up with her neighbour who followed us to the apartment and made sure that everything was in order. The apartment was, like the picture shows, very parisian and it felt very warm and home-y. We felt like we had enough space, it's quite big to be in the centre of Paris and two or three persons could easily stay there comfortably. Léa was very kind and accomodating and made sure we had towels, linen and had cleared space for us so we had room for our luggage and personal things. Everything in the apartment was clean and the house felt very safe, even at night even tough the area isn't as active then.
Both my friend and I strongly recommend staying at Léas apartment, we had a wonderful, easy vacation thanks to her! It was well worth climbing the stairs to the fifth floor!
This is a beautiful and quintessentially Parisian apartment in a "real" neighborhood, not just a touristy part of town. It was a pleasure staying here in all respects.
We spend almost a week in Paris with our 8 month old daughter and had the perfect homebase with Léa's apartment.
Everything for our daily needs was just around the corner and it really is a nice neighbourhood with lots to discover.
The fact that the flat is on the 5th floor made it a bit of an adventure to carry the stroller every day but having two balkonies, lots of light and a pretty nice view made up for the many steps.
Léa was super helpful with everything and it was great to meet her briefly on our departure.
Definitely a place to come back to.
The apartment is lovely and is in a great area of Paris, not very touristy and yet close to the Canal St-Martin. The flat feels exceptionally spacious, with three rooms (study, main room, bedroom) and windows on both sides. The decoration is colorful and quirky and artistic and feels like home. Léa is delightfully charming and was helpful, clear, and accommodating. The flat is right near a pretty big Velib station and not far from the Goncourt metro. Bref: c'était super et j'aimerais bien revenir.
Léa's apartment is charming and was comfortable for two of us. We loved the location both in the neighborhood and the city. Léa's neighbor Raphaelle met us upon arrival and also sent us some recommendations for the neighborhood, which was very helpful. Sitting on either of the balconies, enjoying the cool night air and sipping wine was a great way to top off days spent exploring the city. Thank you, Léa and Raphaelle!
Just finished 4 wonderful nights at Lea's apt! Even in late August, the place got great circulation and was very comfortable (having terraces and doors that open on the north and south sides of the apartment really helps with this...and gives you wonderful views). We ate lunch and a couple breakfasts on the outdoor terraces and just loved it. Lea wasn't in town, but she arranged for her upstairs neighbor to meet us and help with any questions. She was incredibly nice and we had no issues. As an aside, the shower has great water pressure.
The apartment itself is very sizeable. The separate office with the back terrace makes it feel very roomy. This is a great location for exploring Paris, though the nearest Velib stations were almost always out of bikes when we checked.
We would definitely stay here again when we're able to get back to Paris in the future!
We are a couple with a 7 year old daughter. We never actually met Lea but we loved staying in her apartment. The key transfers coming and going went smoothly. The apartment is up 5 steep stories so anyone staying here better be in good shape, especially after a long day in Paris seeing the sights. It's just around the corner from the Goncourt metro 11 station and just a few blocks from the Place de Republique, so traveling to various parts of Paris was a breeze. The neighborhood did not have many other tourists and was very ethnically diverse. Noisy or vibrant at night depending on perspective. The terraces and potted plants were a real treat. WiFi access was also a bonus. Thank you Lea!
Virkelig hyggelig og rigtig parisisk lejlighed med alt, hvad man behøver. Fantastisk udsigt. Alt fungerede perfekt.
Léa was really nice!
Very clean and organized, I'll definitely receive her as a guest again.
Léa est une jeune femme charmante et déterminée, elle communique facilement (email hidden) un exploit personnel dans la montagne, de ceux qui vous font dire, je l'ai fait ! Bravo !
