As a IT Project Manager, I have spent a lot of time travelling. My apt is for rent because a contract in NYC is coming to a close before my lease is up.

I really like this little apartment! I lived here for several months- I was working in the area but not for long enough to commit to a lease. It's just one room and a bathroom, but it was the perfect amount of space for me. It's gets awesome light and has a pair of sliding glass doors with a gorgeous view of the woods, which makes the place feel even bigger than it is.
The apartment has good amount of furniture and a few photos and papercuts on the wall- enough to make the apartment look homey, but not so much that you feel like you're living in someone else's space. The "kitchen" corner is a pretty good set-up, with a brand new mini-fridge and a small gas range. (It's still big enough to fit a full size cookie sheet in the oven though...) Another plus is that the apartment has it's own gas heater on its own thermostat. The entrance through the garage is a bit roundabout, but it's nice to be able to come and go without letting the heat out.
Christina and her husband Bill are great folks. They've been easy to get in touch with, quick to deal with any issues that have come up, and have really helped me out a couple of times.
Also- if you stay here, definitely do check out the trails. They're literally right in the back yard and there is a very nice mile-ish long loop as well as a number of connectors that lead to other trails and old roads.
A very nice apartment with an incredible view on the Hudson River.
We stayed for 2 days and unfortunately, our second day was not good. After writing on our first day to confirm our pre-arranged late checkout, Christina told us at 8.30pm that a cleaner would be coming at 9am the next morning to prepare for the new guests at 12pm - she had unfortunately forgotten our arrangement. This was the first we'd heard of the cleaner and meant we weren't able to enjoy the apartment at all for that last day. We also had to leave the apartment before we had arranged, meaning we had to rush packing and couldn't do the trip we'd planned for the morning.
Apart for this, the apartment was just as we'd hoped - clean, fantastic views and great location. We really enjoyed exploring the area, popping out for breakfast nearby, and enjoying walks along the riverfront.
The problems were due to a simple mistake - but i'd strongly recommend re-confirming check-in and out times to avoid such problems.
I met Christina through airbandb because I needed a place to stay while doing a renovation on my apartment. Christina responded immediately and allowed me to stop by to meet her and see her place. As promised, the views and location are spectacular. Christina has been extremely helpful and easy to deal with. When I arrived the apt was clean and tidy with fresh towels in the bathroom. The furnishings are simple- which I like. It doesn't feel like I'm living with someone's personal stuff. I've been there 3 nights and so far it's been a terrific experience.
